The person who gave you the 'compliment' is an immature idiot, and now you know and can stay away from the person.

Unfortunately they people who would call you milf to your face is the same person who will tell random women on the street that they have nice titties and then expect the women to be flattered, and no amount of telling them that it is offensive will do anything other then make them offended.

Ok..the super feminist side of me says it is offensive. But even more, the staunchly "childfree by choice" me is kind of freaked out at the idea of being called a "mother" in any form because that's about as far from my personal identity as a meerkat or a fire hydrant. Somethin' I will never ever be!

But eh, it's still a compliment in a way. When I'd just hit my 30's a very blunt and slightly vulgar male friend referred to me as a MILF and I was bothered by that. He said, "nah, google some MILF p*rn and you'll see. You're not really BBW and you're not barely legal but you're definitely in the MILF category"

And I wasn't that offended honestly. I take it to mean woman between college age and advanced age who is sexually attractive.
