Did anyone weigh themselves the day after christmas day?

I weighed today and logged a loss. My family Christmas dinner isn't happening until Sunday.0

yep. I'm down 5 lbs from Monday. I wouldn't recommend how I lost it, though. Nasty stomach virus.0

Over 2 days of crazy eating, I gained 2 lbs as of this morning. Probably could have been worse because I didn't weigh all last week. I usually check every morning before my shower.0

Why would I want to do that? All it would show is the mainly water weight I put on. I will not be weighing myself again until mid-January when I start a transformation contest.0

holidays are hard with all the temptation0

Not this year. After binging for months I am starting anew this morning. I am getting back to logging and working out but the weigh in is going to wait a week or so. Probably New Year's Day.0

I weigh myself first thing in the morning everyday. I've only "gained" 2 lbs since Tuesday. I've only had two days of overeating, totaling 1,100 extra calories, but I built myself a nice little deficit earlier in the week so that I could eat what I wanted. Here's a look at my numbers:
Monday- 129.4 (weigh in day)
Tuesday- 128.4 (morning after a late night workout)
Wednesday- 131.2 (with clothes on)
Today- 130.4
I'm happy with the scale and how I feel. After many, many, many sweets I still feel energetic and unbloated. This next week is going to be terrible for me food wise, but I've been very disciplined at this for almost a year, I can have a "bad" week.0 -
I did. Same weight as the day before Christmas. But i didn't pig out or make myself sick with too much food so I wasn't expecting any weight gain.0

This morning's weigh-in showed that I've actually lost a pound. I ate all of the good food the last two days, but I did it in moderation and also squeezed in my workouts.0
-
Yes, but not counting it! We will see how I am this weekend (my normal log time frame).0

I weigh in every few days. I was up .6 this morning, but no one should beat themselves up. Remember 3500 cals is roughly equal to 1 lb. So unless you ate 10,500 cals OVER maintenance in the last couple days, those "3 extra lbs" you gained are prolly just sodium and general fluctuation...0

Same here!
I am really learning that my body feels sluggish and bloated and awful from too much sodium, but too much sugar doesn't do much harm. Obviously not gonna eat too many sweets very regularly but hey!0 -

I weigh EVERY day. It's the day after Christmas and I am at the top of this month's fluctuation range which is still the bottom of last month's range so I'm not worried.0
-
I gained 0.4 lbs but I'm guessing it's water weight0
-
Yes, weighed my self Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Only gained 4 oz. I do not want to be part of the group who gains 8 to 10 pounds during the holidays.0
-
my weight fluctuates too much to weigh myself daily. I stick to weekly.0
-
Just did, After all the Wine, Cheese and Desserts I actually lost 0.1lb for the last week, Getting back on plan today! Happy New Year to all!0
-
I did. I'm up a 1 lb.0
-
I gained 5 lbs. Not sure if I should be proud, or feel like a fat *kitten* (back on track today however)0
-
I weighed in. 8 lbs heavier, but I know it's not real weight gain. I had MANY carbs, so once I'm back in ketosis, the water weight will be gone.0
-
Thursdays are my normal weigh in day. Lost about a pound this week.0
-
I weighed in .6lbs less than yesterday. Both days were still in my weight range. Not concerned.0
-
I did - my weight usually fluxuates between 140.5 and 144.5 - and today i was at the top end of that scale. I'm assuming once the water weight drops, i'll be back down towards 142ish... not too bad.0

Yes, I want on vacation to jamaica 12/6-12/14, then with the addition of holidays, I am up 7 pounds since december 5. Makes me sick.0

With the gym being closed yesterday, weather being cold outside, and having to make trips to 3 different family homes (which included having to help my wife prepare and transport food to all three of them), I wasn't able to exercise at all and had to deviate from my regular eating patterns.
I had to use self control to limit unhealthy foods (temptations I had to resist included home made chocolates and toffee, several varieties of pie, home made shrimp dip, and home made rolls). Fortunately at a few homes, there were veggie trays as part of the spread so I was able to munch a lot of snap peas, celery, broccoli, and carrots (abstained from the dippings and ate the veggies plain) and I ate a lot of turkey breast at the third home we visited. I did succomb to my biggest weakness which is nuts (usually don't have them in the house at all because they are my kryptonite). In the end, I was able to get through with only a half pound gained when I stepped on the scale this morning.
Today it's back to my regular eating and since I missed my usual gym trip yesterday, after hitting the gym this morning (did my Thursday routine) , I'll be going again tonight to make up for the Wednesday routine.0 -
In, to see what the damage is.0
-
Oh gosh no. I'm waiting til Tuesday to weigh myself. Tomorrow I'm going to get logging again.0
-
I daren't! Think I might leave it at least a week...had a naughty few days.0
-
I weigh myself everyday all year long
This. Part of my maintenance strategy is daily weighing and inputting it all into a graph. This morning I was up 8 ounces, still well within my maintenance range and it will probably be gone tomorrow.0
