    I'd like to join! I know its a little late in the game but I've been walking (almost) everyday and keeping track of my mileage just for myself so I'll go through and add those up and make up a ticker later today. I think I'll set my goal at 50 miles for this first (for me) month.

    I too would like to join this challenge. I have been keeping track of my walking all month anyways. It will be fun! I'm setting my goal at 30 miles. Now I just need to set up my ticker. :)

    afternoon lunch break walk....2.25 miles...wooohooooo i'm almost done and i still have 20 days this month

    You should put your ticker into your signature. :) Go up near the top of the page under the advertisement and it will say "Home", "Recent Posts" etc. Click on "Signature" and you can copy and paste your ticker into there. Then go back to TickerFactory daily (or whenever you do your walks) to update your ticker to add more miles to your total. :) I hope that helps!

    I'm feeling lazy today and it's been raining all day. I've been walking every day for the past 10 days and think I want a rest day, might as well take it now while the weather is bad. So I'm not sure if I'll be getting any walking in today. I guess we'll see if the weather clears up.

    Congratulations on everyone's progress! Most of you all are doing great. Those who aren't - Get off your butts and get your walk on! heheh *hugs*

    Hello, a much better day, no rain, no wind, just a bit cold and 7 miles walked so made up for yesterday, but tomorrow is looking bad weather wise.....might have to wear my new hat :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    I managed to get 2.5 yesterday and I think I'll snag a few today to make up for missing Tuesday. We'll see if I can work it in. My daughter is at work with me today so it will have to be after work. Wish me luck!

    I am a new member of MFP, so figure a good way to get going is to jump in. Going to start off slow, only setting my goal at 20. I can always raise it if I want to right!!

    Welcome, hun! :D Yeah, you can definitely raise it if you find that you've set your goals too low. :) I hope you find this Challenge as motivating as I have. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
  • I feel like such a bum. I haven't walked since Saturday b/c I've felt terrible all week. :( Hopefully I can get back on track soon and still make my goals.

    Completed 3 more miles this morning! Weekend is here, so I will be able to add many more miles between Saturday and Sunday.

    I did manage to pick up just over 1.5 miles yesterday. I'm not supposed to run today, but probably will grab two miles because I need the exercise!! :D

    OK so I got in HALF a mile...oiy. I'm not getting in nearly as much walking as I was last month...on the up side, I've started incorporating a lot of other exercise too(push up challenges, hip hop abs, zumba etc)....instead of last month it was almost all just walking..... but its making my goal look awfully far away!
