My neighbor's cousin is Waylon Reavis of Mushroomhead too. Pretty cool.0 -

Based on some of the pits I've been in, I'd probably break the damn thing.
Mosh pits aren't what they used to be...chairs and regulations, etc.
Well that makes me sad!0 -
Just a short list of what's on my workout playlist:
Slipknot
Chimaira
Killswitch Engage
We Were Gentlemen
Suicide Silence
Sepultura
Fear Factory
All That Remains
and quite a bit more.
Gah! I forgot about Fear Factory! Love them! Sepultura is cool, too. Saw them with Ozzie and Type O.
Ministry, too. I love Ministry!
I saw Sepultura back in 2000 on the Tattoo the Earth tour. I also had a chance to meet and talk to Burton from Fear Factory a couple of times. Decent guy, takes the time to talk to fans instead of just blowing them off like some people do.
HAHAHAHA! I went to the Tattoo the Earth Tour too! I saw Kerry King like mere feet from me. I was in full screaming "OMG IT'S MUTHAF*CKIN KERRY KING" mode. lol Oh well!
That was one of the best shows I'd been to!
It was a good show. I sat down in the middle of the pit during Slayer set anxiously awaiting Slipknot. I ended up having flashbacks to the beginning of their set for the next week whenever I would listen to my Slipknot cd.0 -

Haha! I know. Something about people getting trampled to death (literally) that sparks these prohibitions.0 -
Yup! One metal head here!
And I´m getting rid of some weight and planning to run Rock ´n´roll half marathon Oslo 20140 -
Love my metal! My absolute favourite bands are Nightwish and Machine Head, but love a bit of Maiden, Metallica, Pantera, and especially power metal thrown in there! Feel free to add me, would love some metalhead fitness pals!0
-
I listen to Aerosmith and Guns-N-Roses doing cardio.0
-
HELL YES!
I'm a musician too! Although I don't play that style much anymore, that was my bread and butter for a few years
Welcome and best of luck!!

Rach--I would go to this in a second. *sigh*
Iron Maiden was the first metal band I saw in 1985. And yes, I still remember it!0 -
Feel free to add me!0

Hi there I'm new too and love old-skool metal such as Maiden and the kings of metal Manowar, as well as black metal, melodic, doom, viking and quite opposite to all that, glam rock
Motley Crue/KISS etc...
The music at the gym drives me absolutelly bat **** crazy so I have learnt to tune it out. I've been doing classes so I can't block it out with earphones!

I've tried to get my 2.5 y.o into metal but she's not interested. She does love Nick Cave for some reason though, particularly Henry Lee. Everything else I listen to she just gets bored with. I did try hard to show her bathory, kiss and iron maiden but to no avail... Maybe she'll be a goth haha!0

Yes to quite a few of those! Bathory, burzum, cof, darkthrone, deicide, emperor, immortal, mayhem, summoning, you get my drift...
Plus storm and my dying bride, anathema and i've had a total brain blank of name of band now (tired, late) the finnish blokes that based one of their albums on the kalevala. Theyre still going but i only have their first 3 albums from mid-late 90s.0
