Is a cougar defined as a hot older woman after young men? Like a milf? Or just an older woman after young men?0
-
Personally I find it offensive, it suggests a predatory nature. I never chase younger men, they pursue me0

Depends on the attitude of the person calling someone a cougar and the attitude of the woman on the receiving end.
Some are quite proud to be called cougars others not so.0 -
Ick, not a title I want.0

You are 35. That's hardly cougar territory.0 -
no clear answer to this, depends on the person. Cougars are my favorite by far! so I would think it should be a compliment but to each their own0

Haha! I agree, I consider cougar anyone over 40 or 450 -
Cougar - I think it is a compliment.
A woman who knows what she wants and gets it. Good for her!0 -

I agree that it can depend on who is saying or what's implied.
Sometimes men over 40 just don't do.0 -
I'd prefer to be called a MILF. The term "cougar" makes me think of a lady in her mid 40's+ with botox, like all of those "Housewives." There's nothing wrong with being a cougar; I'm just not at that age yet.
I used the term "DILF" once (which I thought was funny), and my husband was completely disgusted by it. So I guess it just depends on the person.0 -

So you're assigning is a negative connotation without being at the age yet. Got it.0 -

Good thing I'm not even 30 yet. lol!
Really though, all women are beautiful! Young and old. (Just have a thing for older experienced ladies. They don't play around or do drama. I hate drama)0 -

Quit lying. You know it's because women hit their sexual peak around 40.0 -
I'm just saying that I don't need botox...yet.0

I am that age and my man is older than me. But I have been with younger men too. Life is short... do what makes you happy it's great when a younger man shows interest. And with that being said, just as good when a man my age or older. It's all good, who ever makes you happy.Whatever makes you happy love and enjoy life...0

That's the thing. There's plenty of drama with a younger woman. Though I wouldn't call a 40+ woman "old."0 -
Since my last birthday, my husband has joked that I've entered cougar territory, but it just doesn't hold water. I prefer men my age or a little bit older... (And he knows that, he just likes teasing me... )0
