    Depends on the attitude of the person calling someone a cougar and the attitude of the woman on the receiving end.

    Some are quite proud to be called cougars others not so.

    no clear answer to this, depends on the person. Cougars are my favorite by far! so I would think it should be a compliment but to each their own

    I'd prefer to be called a MILF. The term "cougar" makes me think of a lady in her mid 40's+ with botox, like all of those "Housewives." There's nothing wrong with being a cougar; I'm just not at that age yet.

    I used the term "DILF" once (which I thought was funny), and my husband was completely disgusted by it. So I guess it just depends on the person.

    I am that age and my man is older than me. But I have been with younger men too. Life is short... do what makes you happy :) it's great when a younger man shows interest. And with that being said, just as good when a man my age or older. It's all good, who ever makes you happy.Whatever makes you happy :) love and enjoy life...

    For some women its an insult for others its a badge of honor I guess it would depend on how someone said it..I say if you got it flaunt it some people don't like that but oh well

    True. When I was 18 my gf at the time was 46.. one of the best ever! Been with much younger women then her since and sex depends.on the chemistry as much as anything else.

    That's the thing. There's plenty of drama with a younger woman. Though I wouldn't call a 40+ woman "old."

    Since my last birthday, my husband has joked that I've entered cougar territory, but it just doesn't hold water. I prefer men my age or a little bit older... (And he knows that, he just likes teasing me... :wink: )
