What frustrates you most right now?

Im used to walking for over an hour and a half a day and lately the weather has been so cold and snowy that ive been missing it for weeks. Ive still been going to the gym but losing those long fast-paced walks has taken its toll on my body and im retaining weight this winter.
Im very much looking forward to getting back out on the sidewalks and reinstating those walks.
Im also indulging in some things that I wanted to cut back on, more than I should, so Im frustrated with that. Thankfully i dont have any crap food in the house, so I can tighten up there no problem.
Other than that, everything is going EXCELLENT.0 -
Being hungry. I make it a point to eat breakfast, otherwise I'm starving all day. Some days, I'm good until lunch, other days I'm starving long before noon. Drives me crazy that I can do the same thing (same job routine Mon - Fri) with the same breakfast (cereal with milk), but some days I want to chew my own arm off before lunchtime.
When I used to eat cereal with milk this happened to me too. I never knew if I'd be hungry or not during the morning.
Sorry to give you unsolicited advice, but have you considered switching up your breakfast? I find that an egg and toast, egg taco, oatmeal with nuts, etc, fills me up and keeps me satisfied until lunchtime (even though my breakfast is usually 200 or fewer calories including coffee with a splash of milk).
Just an idea!
Oh my gosh, this was me (every day!). Like the person above me said, switching up my breakfast solved it. When I ate cereal (cold or not), I was ready to eat my desk by 9:30 am. But now I eat something with more protein (and few carbs), like scrambled eggs or a veggie omelette, and I'm good till noon. Best advice EVAH!0 -
The fact that I have a treadmill, but that after two weeks it is still in it's box. Last week I couldn't put it up due to an injury (OK, so I got concussion ... being head-butted by the dog!) and this week I have to travel for work. I have someone to help me it together at the weekend which is great but I want to use it now damn it!!!0

I'm frustrated with myself for giving up for almost a year. I've only gone up five pounds in that time but I can see it on my body - my confidence has taken a big hit!
But time to step that game up. Run off that frustration!0 -
That there are so many "experts" saying such contradictory things, confusing the heck out of me. I've decided to ignore them all for the sake of my own sanity and just keep things simple.. eat less, move more.
A better idea is to go out and teach yourself the things you need to know, so you dont have to ask others or listen to others that do know. cause you would know.
I get frustrated when people ask me to teach them things because they are too lazy to learn for themselves and expect me to do it for them - then get angry and say they are confused and accuse me of bullying them. That's REALLY frustrating me right now, and something i have to work on outsmarting with my own clients in the gym.0 -
im frustrated with how exhausted my medication makes me 24/7 no matter what, with how much pain my body / joints are in also because of the medication
and how hard it is to force myself to work out now ...use to be so much easier but whatever I still do my best

Realizing that this is going to be long-term and I have a LONG way to go.0

I'm flusterated because whenever I go out to eat or order something at work I am so limited on things that are "good" for you. Everything has to be so large and full of carbs and fats sure thats good here and there. But Its difficult to go out to eat and eat heathy at some places. And then when you do its more expensive than just buying a burger and fries. Society!0

The fact that getting healthy and in shape is a life changing thing. It is not a quick fix and you have to constantly work at it.0

My tennis elbow is really acting up so I'll need to lay off the power cleans for a couple of weeks...0

That I have about 30lbs to lose and I'm trying harder than I ever have before and I'm only losing about 1/2lb a week.. I would love the weight to fall off now.
The fact that even when I reach my goal week I will still have to keep track of what I'm eating / doing so I don't gain back.
That I have a lot of college work to do so I can't focus completely on working out.
That my lovely new jeans still don't fit..0 -
I'm a bit frustrated that I've practically wasted January just trying to get back to my pre-Christmas weight rather than making inroads into new pounds. It was a conscious decision to have a non-diet Christmas but now that it's all over and forgotten it's easy to wonder was it worth it?0

Changing habits in the way of cooking new meals. Learning to buy new ingredients and making something out of the super-easy-bad-for-you norm. It's frustrating only because it's new. Once I find some great new veggie recipes, I'm sure I'll be celebrating!0

my tight skirt choking the life out of my belly fat.0

NOT 100% sure of calorie counts on homemade foods. I do a lot of healthy cooking, and not sure how to determine how many calories are really in a cup of homemade lentil vegetable soup.... I think it's thrown me off.. ALOT...0

I so agree with you, Bluesrockerman. Let's trust ourselves and keep going.0

1 lb or 200. to each his / her own, it's ALL a long way to go and a journey of a lifetime..0

That I used to be around 10-12% body fat at 205 and now I am the size of a small pickup truck. What makes it worse is that I only have myself to blame and now its a long way to get there. Its worth the hard work to get back there, but crappy that I gave up what I had.0

Only having 15-20 pounds left to lose (After having lost 100) and seeing the same 3 pounds drop and then come back again- a complete halt in progress. I can only blame myself, as my motivation waxes and wanes. The problem is that I feel OKAY with how I look, so I'm complacent about losing more so I can go from okay to fantastic, until I see the scale creeping up and then I'm motivated again. I already am healthy and pretty fit, because exercise is a habit for me and one that I enjoy, but my eating habits can be bad at times, enough to stop me from losing.0

Not being able to drink more water. I have to force myself to drink water at times and forcing isnt good. I do drink more however not sure how to when I do not feel like it. :drinker:0

I seem to get a "mid-week" bloat going on, every week consistently. No matter what I ate the night before (or days before) something happens mid week - like right now - where I am holding onto every drop of liquid in my body. I get sausage fingers where I can't even get my rings on or off, and I get an extra half inch or so in my waist measurements. This is despite gorging myself on bottle after bottle of water and a few cups of green tea, and not having to run to the bathroom as often as one would think. I literally gain 4 - 5 pounds and it takes days for my body to let it all go. Very frustrating. I don't salt anything, I stay away from processed foods... I just don't get it.0

That I wake up some days or go to bed some nights SUPER friggin hungry!!! Also, that depending on which calculator I use it shows my fat % different every time The worst is that when I started out and I was single I was sooooo much more dedicated to what I ate, ate cleaner and worked out twice as hard....Now I'm not as picky bout what I eat as long as it fits Not sure if it's the program last time vs. this time or what I eat, but i'll tell you that I'm 3 pounds lighter than this time last yr and I looked a hell of a lot better last yr!!!!0

I started off slowly, beginning with swimming laps, and I was just starting to ramp up my workouts when I hurt my back/pinched a nerve over the weekend, which pretty much put the kibosh on that little endeavor for the next week or so. That is fairly frustrating, to say the least....0

That stomach fat is always the last thing to go away! Lovin my arms and legs and rear...wow what a huge improvement! But my stomach fat just seems to want to stay put. Weird.0
-
That it's almost the end of January and I've lost 1 pound this month. I can't seem to find that calories in/calories out sweet spot where the weight just falls off. SO FRUSTRATING!!
Me too! I just bought a fitbit over the weekend to help with that. Hopefully it'll work.0 -
That my OHP won't progress and its driving me insane!0

not being able to continue with my chocolate addiction0

My extreme desire to eat! I'm having such a hard time changing my mindset. Reminding myself (especially when I'm not hungry) that I don't need food to make me feel good.
YESSSSS! Exactly my thoughts0
