    So Im new to MFP, the posts and friends part anyway. Im 5'6 23 years old. Ive been struggling with my weight since i got out of highschool in 2008. In 2011 I weighed in at 239lbs. Got down to 217 but lost track of my goals and gave up. My fiance asked me to marry him in August and now i have motivation to get healthy and fit!! Whats a better motivater then my wedding dress! ;) Sooo I began working out and eating healthy 7 weeks ago and have seen some results already!! So with that said id like to find people like me =) maybe help each other out, and get through this with =) Feel free to message me and add me as friends Id love to have someone who I can talk to about this! =D

    I'm a 42 year old Dad. I'm at 185, in pretty good shape, but my metabolism is finally slowing down and I'm having to work for it! My ideal weight is 175, and I'm trying different workouts to get me where I need to be. I just signed on yesterday, so hit me up for motivation and friendship!     I'm a runner. A slow one but still a runner. ;-) I love to eat but have been on a mission to eat as clean as possible but I don't live by the rules. I like the outdoors and staying active. Also movies and graphic design. Anyone want to be friends?

    My highest weight was somewhere around 165.
    I'm now at about 158
    my goal weight is 130-135
    Ultimate goal is 125

    I have three kids (8, 6, & 4) and I'm vegetarian and a runner-turned-triathlete (I'm mediocre at all three sports but I hope to see improvements in my times after I drop some weight!).

    I recently joined a gym, so I've been there 5 days a week. I divide my time between treadmill, stationary bike, and weights. I hate the elliptical! haha I'm thinking about starting Couch to 5K, but I'm definitely intimidated!

    I am 28 years old, currently at 164lbs with a goal weight between 135-140. I am a daily logger and exercise 5X's a week. :smile:

    I had originally started this journey in 2012 with a starting weight of 213.
    I am married and have 3 kids.

I like to motivate and encourage others, and if your okay with it point out some better choices. I encourage others to offer me the same advice I dish out!

    I'm 33, 5'5 on a good day ;) and currently 195 lbs looking to get down to around 135lbs. I like naps and loathe exercise. Hoping to switch that around soon! ;D

    Hi there! I'm 21 years old, 175 cm tall (I think that's 5'8)
    My max weight was 224, and now I'm a bit less than 215.
    My goal is to get down to about 154 in less than a year!
    I'm currently doing the 5:2 fasting diet, but any friends with similar (or not) goals are much appreciated!

    I log daily; currently set at a 1600 calorie goal. I do workout DVDs, I am currently on level 2 of the 30 day shred and I plan on doing Ripped in 30 next. I also enjoy walking and cycling.
