I ran a 10K race yesterday and think I pulled a muscle in my hamstring. It may be a few more days till I run again.
Hope you heal quickly!! My hamstring was sending me warning signals from August to October last year and I ignored it, only to end up in PT from November to January. They had me stretching 3x per day in addition to stretching after a run.0 -
1/3 - 8 miles walk
2/3 - No exercise but I drove round the course of the 10k I have entered on 30th March. It was described as 'undulating' but it looked pretty mountainous to me! :noway:

Good luck on the race! Undulating = mountainous - who knew describing races was like describing houses, cozy = closet-sized, undulating = uphill both ways! :noway:0 -

3.9 miles. Super glad this set is over, and that I have a rest day tomorrow. Hamstring twinging, shin pains, and foot cramp. Although I apparently turned my frustration at just how slow/rubbish this week was into SPEEEEED and pulled out a new best 5k of 32:07 (down 8s on 2 weeks ago) and an average pace of 10:24/mi.
Circuit training next week, so I'll be back on the 13th.

I am going to shoot for 100 miles of running, plus whatever else I can do on the bike or row machine. I'd like to go for more, but my left knee stiffened up after my race last Saturday. I need to be conservative on this and take my miles down a bit.
Also, it is busy season and working late is also a factor and that isn't going to change much until 4/15.
So far I have about 21 miles in. Long way to go.
Good luck.0 -
Still trudging along. Surprised by how it adds up if you are consistent.0

I think I will go for 96 miles. this should get me motivated.
I think this is the place to do it.
