    3/4 - REST DAY - 6.2
    3/5 - REST DAY - 6.2 (all 3 days injury related)
    3/6 - 2 miles treadmill - 8.2
    3/7 - REST DAY - 8.2
    3/8 - 6 mi outside - 14.2
    3/9-11 - REST DAY - 14.2 (injury related)
    3/12 - 8 miles outside - 22.2
    3/13 - REST DAY

    I have been doing a lot of resting because of my weak hamstring. I think I may start to get back into some regular running soon however. Looks like it may be a challange to meet my goal this month. We will see.

    Had to run on the treadmill today because of the weather... I can bundle up for almost any temperature, but the ice on the sidewalks is out of control today. Anyway, I am always amazed at how much I love running outdoors and DON'T love running indoors. But hey, I did it and it's over! Hopefully the sidewalks will get a little bit less icy tomorrow!

    Cut my run a bit short tonight, not feeling great, no point pushing it. I guess 2 miles is better than none. :ohwell:

    I'm up to 25.8 miles. A little behind to meet my goal but it's been a super crazy month so far and it's not going to get any better!

    3/1 – 5.11 miles (Ortega River Run – 5 miles – 48:48. First timed race.)
    3/2 – 5.09 miles (easy/slow run)
    3/3 – Rest Day
    3/4 – 4.07 miles
    3/5 – 1 mile run plus cross training (strength and bike)
    3/6 – 5.37 miles (12x400 intervals)
    3/7 – 2.13 miles (plus strength and bike)
    3/8 – 7.08 miles (bridges)
    3/9 – 6.0 miles (plus bike 5 miles)
    3/10 – 4.3 miles
    3/11 – Rest Day (6 hours of yard work. No time or energy to run.)
    3/12 – 3.24 miles (easy)
    3/13 – 5.3 miles (Was supposed to be a rest day but couldn’t keep myself inside. Hope I don’t pay for it on Saturday.)
    3/14 – Rest Day (15 K race on Saturday)

    Plodding, difficult run on slippery snow today - it felt like running on sand and was very tough (especially because I was already tired to begin with). On the plus side, this was just the kind of run that gives you killing machine legs.

    Ran a very leisurely (about 6.2 min/k) 15.7k today - my first real "long" run towards the half marathon. I felt pretty good! If I can keep this up, soon I may try to do slightly faster times on the long runs. It will also help to finally be able to run in nice weather and fully rested.

    Been very slow this week. Spent some time in Melbourne for my daughters 21st. So not much running but plenty of food and wine!:drinker:
    Slow 4 km this morning and a couple of short 2.5km runs on the treadmill.
    Hope to do better this week.
