the worst waste of calories you've eaten?

Drinks. Alcohol that is.
Any other calories Im fine with! LOL0 -
An entire chocolate chip muffin from Costco. 700 calories! And it wasn't good!0
-
A piece of store bought chocolate cake that I thought would be so worth it...turned out to be mostly shortening-infused icing and cardboard cake. Horrible waste of (probably) 500 calories that I had spent the day saving up for!0
-
Mine is always soda blugh0

A Quest peanut butter cup. Chalky at best. And for some reason I just kept eating it. I think I kept waiting for it to taste better...:ohwell:
I agree on this one. I LOVE me some Reeces PB cups! When i saw Quest made one i thought it would be delicious like their Cookie Dough and Oreo. OMG i needed to drink sooooo much water just to be able to finish them!0 -
I think this is what the OP is talking about, rather than a standard creme egg
These are them!i couldn't remember what they ere called as I didn't buy them myself, it was thrust upon me, and felt like I had to eat it, that's why I said it was a ery quick 200 cals, I would have rather ate 2 x freddo chocolate bars instead.0 -
Aw, some times things, especially chocolatey things, are just too hard to resist! For me it was a magnum ice cream bar.... but now there are none left in the fridge, so it's okay! :P0

Alcohol.0

I ate a double tree chocolate walnut cookie earlier and then found out it had 310 calories. It was really good, but is have passed if I'd realized it had so many calories.0

Yes me too. I had 3 beers last night that I didn't need which led to eating too much of the cheese platter, BBQ sausages and home made rogan josh curry. I wasn't hungry and would have been perfectly happy drinking a couple of soda waters. I really am going to have to learn to say "no thanks" when people offer me beers and high calorie food I don't need.0 -
In N Out Burger. There is only one near me. Its about an hour drive. I happened to be near there for a festival and stopped because of all the hype. I haven't had fast food or burgers in many months. It was horrible. The pain for the next two day was horrible too. Never again!
theres a reason its called In N Out0 -
Calories are only wasted if you don't use them. :P0

Hell YES! Took one bite and threw that vile thing away from me. Ack!0 -
An oversized everything bagel this morning. It was totally mediocre and made me feel bloated later. Should have had a doughnut for the same calories!0
-
hershey's minis - 9 pieces for 200 calories! I love em and I will split them up throughout my day:)0
-
In the summer I had a mini peanut butter fudge milkshake from Sonic on one occasion, and a mini peanut butter & jelly shake on another. I wanted to see what all the hype was about, and I still don't see it. They were small, thin, sickeningly sweet, and were close to 800-900 calories each for what I remember. I could get a much larger (and better) milkshake from Chick-fil-A for that.
Pretty much any bakery item, though.
Starbucks' pastries are delicious, for instance, but for what most bakery treats provide in calories, it just isn't worth being hungry and feeling lethargic afterwards.
Ice cream cake is also a waste, now. SO many calories for such a small serving size! Same with movie theater popcorn, good, but simply not worth it! I'd rather take plain popcorn or frozen yogurt and enjoy an entire container of it for the same calories.0 -
Poptarts. A serving is ONE, which is just evil and they're not even filling. They're like the potato chips of the breakfast world.
But my biggest disappointment was these little off brand fig newton things. I had three before I thought to look at the nutrition info. They were 70 calories each.
It's my fault for eating them but I was still pretty upset.0 -
Angel wings, I just wanted to cry when I saw the calorie count0

Bowl...whipped cream...spoon...sigh.0

White Sliced Bread, 120 Cals per slice. Apparently bread we used to have many years ago was a low fat low calorie fill up quick. Now that its mass produced it's high fat high sugar & salt content just so it can sit on the shelf for a week.0
-
I loooove Cadbury's Creme Eggs. I limit myself to one for the entire year - and I enjoy every second of it.
These, too. These are AWFUL - but they're a local specialty here and very hard to find, so I get ONE and I make it last for weeks. Try to, anyway. It's called a Mary Sue Easter Egg, they come in different flavors but the Vanilla Buttercreme is the shiz.
Those of you who live in Maryland, Pennsylvania, etc., you know what these are. They're SO FATTENING is what they are. 100 calories for every OUNCE and they come in 6 ounce, 12 ounce packages, etc. Ugh.
But SO good.0 -

So much this. Shop-bought white bread is evil - tasteless, sugary and guaranteed to leave me wanting at least one more sandwich. (But is usually the only thing in the house for making toasted cheese. :frown: )
If I ate more bread, I'd buy a bread maker and make my own. My parents do this, and even the bog-standard white loaf is tasty and filling for less calories (until you count the cheese... )0 -
French fries, any snacks that I snack on when bored, candy (like skittles, starbursts, gummy worms, etc.), bread at restaurants0
-
Everything I ate from Sunday to Wednesday this week. I have a horrible sinus infection and my nose is so stuffed up, I couldn't hardly taste anything I ate anyways. And I therefore felt the need to exceed my calorie allowance all of those days. FAIL!0
-
A whole packet of Twinkies - a long long time ago. I felt so sick for two days that I vowed never to look at them again - and I haven't!
I had never had Twinkies before, but this past summer when i was at my grandmas house in Minnesota (for a family reunion and my mom has 16 siblings), one of my aunts brought 4 of the comeback packages and gave everybody one. Instead of it being a glorious sponge cake filled with creamy goodness, It was dry and the filling was too sweet. I've never had one since.0 -
Angel wings, I just wanted to cry when I saw the calorie count
I think shes talking about this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_wings0 -
Extreme Sour Patch Kids are my weakness. Also Bigs Ranch/Dill Pickle Flavored Sunflower Seeds. Having an aunt that owns 2 candy stores doesn't help either.0
-
Eating ANY fad-diet related food that I didn't like. THAT was a waste of calories... even if it was "healthy".0
-
Fried oreos.
Two minutes to eat...
About 800 calories ingested.
-cry-
I NEED TO TRY THESE FRIED OREOS!!!!!! MIND IS TOTALLY BLOWN!!!0
