So happy to have lost a decent number this week, 2.6! And to be down 2.8 total is awesome for me. I think that for the next week, I'm going to switch my goals to maintain. Don't want to gain!0 -
Godblessourhome...shorties unite! I'm glad I'm not the only short one here. We share the same healthy range...although sometimes I think to myself, 95 lbs? Really? For a woman my age? Don't bones and organs weigh alot?
My New Years Resolutions are:
1. Join a gym. My motivation to move is too low to exercise at home during the winter months.
2. Commit to showing up at the gym 3 times a week. Even if all I do is walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes, I gotta sign in and suit up!
3. Commit to making at least one home cooked dish a week. (I do more "assembling" than cooking in my kitchen...)
4. To do one fun thing a month that does *not* involve going out to eat.0 -

Well, not such a good start to my day....I'm up three pounds from last week.:sad: I know it's probably only water retention but it's very discouraging. I ate very well this week and exercised 4 out of 7 of those days. Guess I've just got to work harder! *sigh*

I had the same thing happen to me. Up until last week I'd hit a little plateau and didn't moe for about 3 weeks. I get up with my eating but took a little break from exercising for 4 or 5 days. Once I started again it seems to have jump started things.0 -

Changed my diet (1 1/2 weeks ago)- guess I should be losing soon- hopefully. Been lifting a lot lately though, so my muscle mass might have increased... *keeping fingers crossed*

OKAY!!! I have to be allowed to revise yesterday's weigh in. Let's just say that last night my body finally cooperated with me! Stepped on the scale today and I'm at 165.0!!!! That's down 3.2 which feels more like it since I've had a rough week with this tooth and not able to eat anything. Still not may be totally true, but we'll see by next week. I'm loggin' it cuz I'm so happy to see that loss!!! :bigsmile:

I'm definitely in! I'm Kimberly, 35 years old, and recently went through a divorce from my HS sweetie. We have 3 kiddos together, 16, 4 and 2. My stress eating attributed to my 16 pound weight gain since summer. I'm an event coordinator and this coming April is my non-profits huge annual gala for child abuse prevention. It will mainly be attended by the medical community.. maybe I'll meet a cute doc!0
