From 7/14/11:Count me IN!
I just did the website that LorinnaLynn did:
Age: 40
Weight: 143
Height: 5'5
Sex: F
Body Fat : 27.6%
Min. Calories according to above website: 1,821
...and boy, it looks like my MFP settings are way off...!
MFP has me at 1,290 calories a day, and YES I eat back every one of my exercise calories.
I guess it's doing that b/c I only want to lose about 10 lbs. overall...??
Do I just open up my diary for this one?
Thanks again!
UPDATE 11/9/11, from http://www.scientificpsychic.com/fitness/diet.html:
Age: 40
Weight: 136.8
Height: 5'5
Sex: F
Body Fat : 22.3%
Min. Calories according to above website: 1,821
*** Interesting, because I had calipers done by the trainer at work not too long ago, and his calculations came out to 15% body fat...wonder why such a difference...?0 -

Happy Friday!
Age: 33 (until next week)
Female
Weight: 108
Height: 5'2
Body fat %: 22.3 (U.S. Navy Circumference Method)
Calories: -1410 (set by MFP for 'maintenence'. Ok with weight at the moment looking to lower my BF% mostly. I eat back about 1/2 my exercise cals-150-250ish- if I am hungry )
Goal bf%: 18-20%
Havent been able to lose inches OR lower my BF for a few months now.... Seems like Im at a stand still!
Not sure what the problem is.
Updating from 10/07/11.
I have since upped cals to 1600per day (as you suggested). Upped my weights quite a bit, strength/ weights 3 times per week (with added cardio). Working out about 5-6days per week.
I have NO changes to report *FRUSTRATED* I measured last night and all measurements are the same. I tossed the scale for now (was weighing TOO much before) so not sure of my actual weight- but visually I look about the same... if not BIGGER. Not sure where to go from here... figured I would have some changes to report by now!0 -
After you replied about this on my post last week - I upped my calorie intake - whilst I haven;t stood on the scales as yet, I am feeling so much better in myself!!
So Thank you !!0 -
Update is that for the past 3 weeks I have increase cals to 2000-2100 gross from 1400-1700 gross. My weight is up 3-4 pounds roughly from when I stated. My measurements are the same, but my bodyfat calculated via calipers has gone from 25.7 to 24. My husband is helping me with the measurements so hopefully they are accurate!!! I havent checked my weight for a few days because of monthly timing, but Sunday I plan on weighing again and hopefully the scale starts moving down. Either way hopefully fat % continues moving down!!!0

What are your stats.. height, weight, age, workout routine and do you have medical conditions. Without that, I can't even begin to estimate.0
