Olive oil spray, salt. Black pepper, cayenne pepper or Tabasco.
  • Costco has a nes seasoning salt called buffalo chicken wing seasoning. It is finely granulated like popcorn salt. I lightly spray olive oil cooking spray over popsorn, season immediately and microvave quickly to reheat-amazing. All of the kernal season s brand salts work really well too. Spray lightly with parm and garlic seasoning is awesome as well. :)

I like garlic and Parmesan cheese on my Skinny Pop popcorn ^^
  • today i made deliiiiicious popcorn (1.5 tablespoons uncooked, about 3.75 cups cooked!) which ended up being about 60 calories. i use an air popper.

i added to the popcorn: a tiny bit of vegetable oil cooking spray to make things stick, basil leaf crushed up, tabasco sauce, allspice, oregano, marjoram, pepper, hot shot (hot red pepper crushed up with pepper). it was a wicked delicious combo!! and cost only about 65 calories!

I love air popped popcorn with Lowry's Seasoning Salt.
  • Little tip I found on pinterest (doesn't really have to do with toppings). Take a brown paper bag and add about 1/2 cup popcorn. Fold top over 2 times and microwave for about 2 minutes. Delicious, healthy microwaved popcorn for just pennies! No added preservatives, oil, junk that the microwave bags have in them!!!! So good and works perfectly!

Is this not the normal way to make popcorn?
I've been making it this way for all my life...

My boyfriend and I stove pop ours with coconut oil, and then season it with a mixture of smoked paprika, oregano, and garlic salt. Yum!
  • Nutritional yeast- tastes buttery, but good for you.

Also, italian seasoning or Garlic & Herb- both available in bulk from a health food store

Nutritional yeast ~ buttery, cheesy and salty ~ with 8g of protein per serving

I just finally found this stuff in the grocery store. It is ridiculously tasty. My son loves it! I'll bet it would stick to pop corn really well too.

The sliced jalapenos from a jar, but baked so they aren't all squishy. If you make popcorn in a paper bag, just drop 'em in there. There's a spray butter chemical that is "free" and is pretty good too.

I have a stove top popper so i pop the kernels in a bit of coconut oil. When done I toss them with a tablespoon of melted butter. for seasoning I use either butter flavored popcorn seasoning or I use an asiago peppercorn popcorn seasoning. The melted butter helps the seasoning stick. you have to work fast while it's hot and steamy. so I usually pour half the popcorn in the bowl, use a spoon to drizzle half the butter on, sprinkle with seasoning. then add the other half of everything and then toss really well.

How do you make 'air popped popcorn' - I've always used a store brought microwave bag. But they are usually really HIGH in calories...

Any advice would be gratefully accepted.

You can just put a few tablespoons of popcorn in a glass bowl, add oil if you want (or not), cover it with a glass lid (I use a dinner plate) and put it in the microwave on high for about 3-4 minutes.

I air pop my corn, spray it with a little pam to make the seasoning stick and then take a packet of stevia and mix it with kosher salt and sprinkle it over. Minimal calorie add and maximum yummy. Tastes a lot like kettle corn.

May sound gross. Melted butter, lime juice, and salt. I pretend it's a margarita.
