1. The jeans I bought a couple of months ago when I went down a size are beginning to feel loose! yay..
2. My husband hugged me real close yesterday and said that he can now feel my pelvis when we hug like this and he likes it! LOL. So do I33 -
I didn't buy myself something at the bakery this morning.38

1. Yesterday, I went shopping to try on new pants. They didn't have the style that I usually buy; only a "genius fit" kind that last year, I couldn't even get my leg into the pants! I was disappointed, but had to do something, so I asked the lady in the shop to help me. She told me to go up a size, or they wouldn't fit (I wear an 18). Because my jeans are baggy everywhere, I decided to try on the 18, rather than up one, and it FIT!

They looked SO amazing on me, and except for a little extra flap in the waist, fit like a glove! I went home and ordered a 16, so that I'd have something to look forward to, and still be able to wear them for a long time to come. I ordered myself a pair of capris, too.
Look out, Summer!
2. This morning, I was digging through my closets for stuff to go to Salvation Army. I stumbled upon my 5 yr jacket, with my former corporation's logo. It has never fit. I was able to zip it closed, though not comfortably. Victories all around!!!!22 -
My non scale victory today was trying on my boots from Christmas which were skin tight and I was barely able to zip them up, today they are quite roomy and I can slip in and out of them without unzipping!!

I did my first unassisted full chin up last week. I was very excited as it's been a goal of mine for some time. It wasn't exactly pretty, but I made it up
That is so awesome! i am working on pull ups...have been for 6 months. *someday!* thanks for the inspiration!
keep at it! i just did my first chin up a few weeks ago and i can now do three with a brief rest in between. i tried for over a year before i was able to. i used modified pull-ups and let-downs in the meantime. you can do it! :flowerforyou:
Yep you can definitely get there I started with a band to assist me, and my trainer had to help too, then got to the point that I just tried to lift myself - at first I could only get up an inch or two. I'm not even sure how long it took though... probably about 6 or 7 months.5 -
Yesterday was my 25th birthday and I decided to badge up on fitbit to 30K steps to commemorate it. I wanted to go for a hike, but it was raining badly. Instead I did W1D2 C25K in the morning, a walk around the mall with the friend, a walk with my husband and son, and one more run. I made it to 30K, which ended up being 13.56 miles.25

Random people commenting on my weight loss, daughters teacher at parents evening, lady behind me in my weekly aerobics class, another at zumba.
Was really pleased to fit in pair of cropped jeans size 16, before we went on holiday early April, tight but definitely in, now are getting too loose, only 4 weeks later.
Dragged old clothes out of loft as feels achievable now. Wardrobe half empty as all too big clothes go.19 -
For the first time since high school I no longer fall into the overweight category on a BMI chart. Beaming37

Recent NSV...husband and I split up at the grocery store and when he found me he said he was having a hard time because he didn't recognize me from the back, I look so different now Love that man!45

I fit into my favorite shirt and pants today!22

first of all, i JUST NOW found out what nsv means! a recent one for me was pulling out a pair of horribly tight jeans that i haven't been able to wear comfortably in probably a year. i put them on and they were only *sorta* tight but definitely wearable (and my mom told me they looked good on me - bonus from mom who has rarely complimented my appearance, regardless of my size). my goal is to be able to wear my wedding ring again because my 4-year-old became obsessed with the fact that i don't wear it. funny kid.
also, last week i bought a little summer dress without trying it on or checking the size tag; in my hurry i grabbed the dress hanging on the hanger labeled XL. i got it home and tried it on - it was a bit snugger than i expected, but it looked pretty good and felt pretty comfortable. my daughter exclaimed, "it fits!" and my husband thought it looked great. i realized later that the dress was a MEDIUM, not XL. it's stretchy and all that, but i couldn't believe i didn't look like a sausage in it. yay!35 -
also, thanks for posting, everyone - i loved reading about all your successes!6

Oh, gosh! That's so amazing!
I have never been able to wear knee high boots because my calves are quite round! I found a pair of Dr Martens that barely make it, and I hope that I'll be able to cinch them tighter, one day!3 -
My "skinniest" size clothing is starting to hang on me, which is awesome because a lot of this stuff was around before my son was born (he's 7)! The weight loss comments are starting to come from everywhere, now that I'm wearing my "old" stuff!
I bought myself a pair of really form fitting jeans, and jean capris, knowing that they look awesome. :flowerforyou: I feel excited to wear my summer clothes for the first time in MANY years.14 -

Trying to quote this post! Lol!
I picked up a really cheap silver band on ebay. I think that it was under 8 dollars, but it's a great place holder until I lose enough weight, and can size my rings one time.
Sorry for the double post!6 -
As a diabetic, I had my quarterly docs appointment last week. He asked me how much long lasting insulin I was taking and I said 40 units. He asked twice a day and I said no just once. The last appointment I was taking 45 units twice a day! I still have a ways to go but it is nice to cut your insulin requirement in half over one quarter.41

My husband can now put his arms all the way around me when we hug and now calls me his mini wife! makes me giggle every time!33
-
Today I am wearing a skirt that I haven't worn since 2006.
This means that I'm smaller than I have been in about 7.5 years. I'm smaller than I have ever been since being diagnosed with PCOS/hypothyroidism/insulin resistance.
Edit: I think I'm gonna cry.42 -
just got back from the tailor having all my suits and jackets taken in. $100 bucks lighter in the wallet too, but so worth it. My suits were hiding my weightloss and feeling great today! It's like 90 degrees here but i'm still wearing my jacket haha.17

In the last month I have bought my first size 4 and also some size 2 clothing of MY LIFE. It was an amazing feeling!21

I put my jeans on for the first time in 2 weeks, and in those 2 weeks I've done lots of running and strength training, really upped my exercise overall and eaten very clean... and my jeans fit better!! They were tight before and uncomfortable to sit in, now they are the perfect fit and are comfy!!!! I also tried a dress on that I tried in January/February and it wouldn't do up, I was devastated (I knew it'd be too small, but thought it'd still do up at least!), but today it does up fine! I still need to lose a bit to be able to wear it, but I should be able to wear it some time in late Summer if I keep everything up!10

Went down to my old office earlier this week to participate in the company health fair. Everyone kept telling me how great I look. Made my day!
Got bloodwork results back today and my numbers are FANTASTIC! That made my freakin' month! Even though I see it in my clothes and in the mirror and others see it as well, there is something so gratifying about it showing up in test results. I am one happy camper!16 -
Digging out a suitcase of clothes that I promised myself one day I will fit them and gaining three tops, a pair trousers and a dress for my everyday wardrobe. So chuffed.12

Managed to do a chin up. It's been months of practicing. Still working on pull ups.12

Cashier at Aldi went out of her way to ask me if I lost weight. Told me she noticed I looked thinner every time she saw me. I never realized she even recognized me. Made my day!!32

Today I fit into a medium lace dress and a small top! And size 14 jeans. I'm so thrilled. That right there...boosted my ego. A LOT.12

My NSV is going from a size 24 in November to now wearing a size 1624
