I'm in Savannah, GA. It's not pop or soda. It's Coke (it's used as a generic term like Kleenex and Xerox).

    Subs. And fireflies.

We also say "fixing to" instead of "going to/preparing to," "tote" instead of "carry," and "carry" instead of "give a ride to." For example, "I was fixing to make lunch, but we're out of bread. Can you carry me to the grocery store and then help me tote the groceries into the kitchen?"

    The same here in SC

Used to say 'pop' - now it's 'soda' because I've lived in Arkansas, Tennessee and New York (state) before coming back to my home state of Michigan

    Subs

    Firefly

Sofa (I do say 'couch' too though)

I grew up in a little town on the NY/PA border near Corning and Ithaca. I now live in north Florida:

Do you say Pop or Soda? -- Both (and sometimes soda pop)
    Hoagies or Subs? -- Subs
Lightening bugs or fireflies? -- Both. But I spell it lightning.

I think soda is leftover from my childhood in Texas (moved to Nebraska when I was 9). Everyone else says pop.

Originally from southern IL, where it was Coke, Sub, Ligthnin' Bug.

Now in Toronto, where it is Soda, Sub, Firefly.

Toronto Ontario, Canada? I have never heard a Canadian call Pop, Soda! And I lived a few years in Toronto.
In the Maritimes (east coast Canada) we typically say
Pop, Sub, either lightning bug (when we were kids) or firefly.

    Central Ohio

I grew up saying "pop," but my CA-native husband has converted me to calling it "soda."
    Subs
Both, though I think I mostly say "lightning bug."
    Cart
    Couch, usually, but sometimes sofa.
The liquor store is either that (liquor store) or the state store. Growing up, I remember my parents referring to it as the state store and we had the weird hours here in Ohio too: ie closed on Sundays and had to be bought by, I think, 9PM on other days.
