I'm in! I missed my July goal by 25ish miles so I really want to meet my goal this month. My HM training plan has 111 mi. scheduled for July, but I think 75 is a safer bet for me. It sucks to be that far off, but I'm being realistic with weather, family obligations, etc.

Hmmmm a running challenge. I'm more of a cyclist, but I would like to try and vary my exercise. I'm not ashamed to start off way low at 25 miles for August. Now to figure out this ticker. . .0

I had a goal of 40 in July and (after today's planned run at lunch time, will have made goal, barely!). I would LIKE to increase my mileage for August, but I'm moving this month and have some other things going on, so I think even getting to 40 may prove a challenge, so I'm going to keep it at 40 miles for August and see what happens.0

I meant to say I am going for 80 miles in August. Ran 70 in June, hardly any in July, but am on track for 80 since I signed up for my first 8K, and 10K in September and my first 1/2 Marathon for the end of October. I am extremely goal-oriented and signing up for these runs give me a specific goal.

I would like to join the challenge. My goal for the month is 50 miles.

I decided since I ran 177 miles last month (with 165 in my plan) it doesn't make sense to declare 180 as my goal with 205 in my plan. Still 200 seems scary, so 190 it is!

I'm in for August too. I'll be on vacation most of the month, so I I'm afraid I won't be posting on a regular basis, but I can definitely run/walk!
