It'll take a few days. Both hands are like that as well as the back of my arm and hip.
I wasn't wearing gloves. I don't like them. I may reconsider in the future...lol.0 -

Today it was not so hot and I could go for a longer ride, I was worried that the downpour yesterday would have left some of the paths muddy , but it was okay

132 miles so far , I will certainly get over the 500 miles if we don't get another period of superhot weather. My goal is really to get faster, but when it is so hot and humid I just do not have the energy to push it.0 -
Hi everyone! I'm a MTBer and I am new to this board. :-) I am registered for my first XC race and am aiming to get in some miles before then. The race is August 23rd. So far this month:
August 2 - 9.5 miles lots of four wheeler riding. Not a fan. Prefer single track
August 3 - 19.5 miles. Steady 10 mile climb. I need to get used to that considering my race has quite a bit of dirt road climbing.
August 4 - 5.6 miles of steep, rocky/technical single track. LOVE.
I got a tree branch stuck in my rear spoke last night and went over the handle bars on a fast descend on rocky terrain. I should be dead, I think, but walked away with only a skinned up knee and anger than my awesome descend was disrupted. :-) Happy riding everyone!0 -

my goal will be at least 65 miles per week. My TRI is the end of the month and I have been pushing to make sure my knees are in shape for the bike and the run. I was able to do 68 last week and will push for that number again this week. Everyone have a great ride0

***August Goals = race well in mountain bike races on my calendar for the 3rd, 17th, 24th, and the big "50 miler" on the 31st. That's a lot of mountain bike racing for one month meaning I will have to taper and recover as best as possible this month to pull it off.0
