8/30 - rest day (fun day at high school XC meet)
8/31 - 7.1 miles (most miles I have run at one time!!!!!!)
then I noticed I was .8 miles from 100! So rested a few hours and waited for thunderstorms to pass and went back out to do 1.63 miles so ...
8/31 - 8.73 total miles

So I didn't make my target
Between moving back to Uni and going off on holiday I ended up doing just 3/4s... Never mind, September 2014- 80miles! Bring it on!!

Didn't make my goal, but I'm still happy with 50 for the first month if tracking mileage. And considering my wife was in the ER a couple times one week, I'll take it as a win all the same. Will push harder next month for 60!

Here is my update for august.
I take it easy and set for 40 km
Mostly walked, but overachieved my goal!
Sorry for not posting individual runs, I was doing it, but accidentally cancelled it.
Total distance run/walked = 79.7 km!!!

Well, I didn't exactly make my "running" goal - but overall, if I include my 18 miles of hiking, I would have been 3.2 over the mileage goal. Given the improvement in my hiking stamina, I'll take it!

8/2: 4.0 miles on treadmill
8/4: 3.7 miles on treadmill
8/5: 3.3 miles on treadmill
8/9: 4.5 miles on treadmill
8/14: 2.5 miles on treadmill
8/16: 4 miles on treadmill
8/19: 1 mi on treadmill, 1.5 on elliptical (breaking in new shoes...toes went numb)
8/22: 4.4 mi on treadmill
8/23: 3.1 mi COLOR RUN!
8/25: 3.5 mi on treadmill
8/27: 3.4 mi on treadmill
8/30: 3.1 mi on vacation in beautiful Idaho!

Now that we are in September... here is what I did in August - surpassed my goal of 25 miles by 5 miles!
8/01 - 2.0 mi
8/04 - 2.0 mi
8/05 - 2.0 mi
8/12 - 2.5 mi
8/14 - 2.0 mi
8/16 - 3.0 mi
8/18 - 2.5 mi
8/19 - 2.0 mi
8/22 - 3.5 mi
8/26 - 2.5 mi
8/28 - 2.0 mi
8/30 - 4.0 mi

You can start declaring your miles now but wait till Monday September the 1st to begin logging.

Just got back from travels out of town, but did want to report that August was 116.9 miles on 18 runs. I added another 30 miles or so on the bike and row machine so despite the 3rd month of summer sauna in FLA, we keep marching on. I even took off the 31st after my first 10 miler in months on the 30th.
Thanks to these threads, I've met the 100 mile target for I believe 14 straight months so I appreciate the motivation.
