    Kelly, you're killin' me!!

I see your post as a challenge to me so here it is in my post, I WILL COMPLETE A 5K EVERY WEEK! I cannot say I will 'run' it every week, but I will complete one ever week.

I did 2miles yesterday afternoon and then went back after dinner and did another mile, but I'm not really counting that. I will do a full 5k all the way through. I did graduate C25k, but in my final run, I only managed 2.75 miles, which is still good, but not as good as I hoped. I did all of my running outside and doing it on a tread makes a difference to me. I'd rather be outside doing it. Since I don't know how long I'll have my tread, if I can't get my 5k's on there, I will continue them outside as needed. I really need to up my game a bit anyway as my 2nd 5k of the year is coming up 2/12/11 and my 3rd on 3/19/11.

My goals (not resolutions) this year is to complete 5 5k's and spend more time being active with my brothers. I can't wait for the spring/summer to get here so I can run with them at the park and play baseball, etc. Until then, we Just Dance together, they love it and I love the time with them!

Hope you all have a great day and remember to compliment yourself daily :)

    Again....YOU started it!

accountant_boi: Yes I'm good with deleting them if they don't check in after a few weeks. If they come back then you can add them back in. Thanks again for your hard work on the chart! Its awesome!

Good afternoon all. It's going to be a lazy Saturday for me now that the workout and the house cleaning has been completed. I wanted to post before I started watching the movie "Salt" w/Angelina Jolie. I heard pretty good reviews about it while it was in the theater so decided to check it out.

Today I completed the Fat Blaster dvd that came as a bonus w/the Chalean Extreme program. I burned 275 calories in 30 minutes. I may add a hula hoop workout later but will make a definitive decision as the day progresses.

So how was Salt? CJ & I saw the Green Hornet today - it was dreadfully awful. CJ is now banned from picking movies! He apologized to me several times for picking such an awful movie!

Anyway - I did a somewhat "light" workout today. I did a 2 mile walk/run on the treadmill, then scrubbed the floors and vacuumed. I didn't get to the gym since I went out with CJ all afternoon. Oh well....I will get there in the morning I hope!

Good afternoon everyone. A quick post because I'm tired and want to chill out for the rest of the day. Since today is my designated "rest" day I decided to complete the commercial challenge in order to get in some type of exercise. I jumped rope during the commercials of the Packers vs. Bears football game. When it was all said and done I jumped rope at a moderate pace for 30 minutes and burned 275 calories in the process.

Hello everyone. I was logging my expercise and meals for this evening and thought I would just say , the only good thing that came from the Bears vs Packers game was I went to spin class for an hour to release my frustrations. I burned 567 calories. Which allowed me to go out to dinner in peace tonight. I was pleasantly surprised at the calorie burn. I just purchased a heart/calorie monitor yesterday and used it for the first time today. It showed my calorie burn much higher then MFP does.

Has anyone else used the monitor and how accurate do you think it is???

I'm having a killer time over here.. hubbys' back is better and my tooth is beyond aching. Throbbing throughout my whole mouth and I'm not on Nick's insurance yet. I really hope we catch a some break long ebough for me to take care of this tooth. NOthing I take is helping which means it's infected like the other one they had to cut out a while back. Ow, ow ow. I'm miserable and I so tired. I can't sleep either. If it doesn't subside soon, I don't know what we're gonna do. SOrry for the mini vent, but I needed to.

I gained 2lbs but I'm not worried. Less than two weeks to go before I can do weights in the gym. I think I might start doing abs, pushups, and weights at work to get myself moving again. I cannot wait until February 7th so I can go into World Gym. I think the equipment misses me. I believe I'll drop 5lbs the first week I'm back just because I'll be moving more.

Good morning and happy Monday all. Well it's official, this is my last week of working from home. My team and I report to begin our record review next Monday so getting organized will be crucial. I already have an idea of what Sunday's dinner will be and I'll have to iron my clothes for the week and prepare my lunch and snacks so I can be ready to go. I'll have to now get up at 5 am, have an hour to workout, shower and be out the door so I can dodge the morning traffic. As a result, I may not be able to post as often or respond as I normally do. I still plan to log my exercise, food and participate in the thread as much as possible but the work schedule can be hectic at times so just not sure how much time I'll have to log on.

Today I completed Push Circuit 1 and since I was still a little sore from the increase of weights in last week's workout I also completed the Recharge dvd from the Chalean Extreme program. I'm still a little sore but the stretch did feel great. I did not hula hoop this weekend so i may incorporate a little in before the day is over.

my computer crashed this week, so I can't post all of my weight loss for the past weeks (using my cell, and can't do much on here), but I thought I would weigh in anyways. I was thrilled with my loss this week, since the weekend wasn't too great! We went out to dinner one night and had a family party the next day.

Has anyone else used the monitor and how accurate do you think it is???

DH and I got HRMs for last Christmas (a year ago). I don't use mine as much as he's used his, but he swears by it. He finds that on some things MFP and the HRM match up, but on others they are off. Generally speaking, if it's off, MFP is typically lower than the HRM. (There are a few exceptions, but in general.)

I didn't weigh in this AM, but I will tomorrow. I did, however, go to Zumba for the first time tonight. Oh goodness! THAT was an experience! I had fun, but after about 25 minutes I was really wishing I could just lay down. Probably should've waited until I was totally over this breathing crud I've had, but we just joined the Y this weekend, and I was super excited to finally get to try it. Because I was having trouble breathing through some of it, I didn't go as hard as I could have, but I still burned 572 cals in 60 minutes. That may be the best burn I've had since joining MFP! I hope to be able to do it twice a week, but we're still working on scheduling and how to work it out. Here's to hoping, because I had a BLAST!

Welcome to all the new members! It's great to see you. Good work to everyone who lost this week. Keep working! We'll see how I've done in the morning!

Well, i will not be posting again this week until Wednesday. Kiddos have been home Thursday, Friday and Monday because of snow. So sick of snow days!!!!! I have not run since last Wednesday:( Thankfully, they go back tomorrow but gym day is not until Wednesday. Have good one.

BTW, Bru: Sorry about your tooth. Sounds so painful :(

Much happier with the results this week!!! I've upped my veggie intake last week which I hope to maintain, even though I still have to sneak some of it into my food! I'm like a big kid who doesn't like her veggies! This weeks goal for me is to cut down on diet pop, I know I won't cut it out completely yet, but limiting to one every other day is doable...I think! Though I may have to take up drinking coffee to keep up with my kids!
