Would like more friends on MFP for mutual support - have the start of a good network and it makes a terrific difference. Aldo interested in connecting with people nearby for occasional walks etc.

I already checked in this week but I could use some encouragement ~ I wasn't good yesterday because I was feeling crummy and I am worried that I am going to slip up again today just out of habit because that always seems to happen after I'm not good for even one day! I gotta break this destructive cycle. Gotta remember that it was only one day and it doesn't derail me from all my hard work that I have done so far. I'm so close to breaking through that 200 mark and making it back into the 100's... Can't give up now!!

I'm new to this forum... but have been on and off MFP a few times in the past. I'm really looking to make a commitment to myself this time and make the weight loss stick. My first goal weight for myself will be a normal BMI for my height 184 (I'm 6'0") with my ultimate goal wait to be 165 (or so). And PS around 9/1 I just got back on the weight loss wagon which is likely why I dropped so much my first week.

I have to make a commitment this time. I sabbotage myself every single time I get close to a goal--so this time I'm making my goal a little bigger, in hopes I will work even harder to get there! Once I get there, I am good at maintaining---just have to make it happen first!
