    Once when I was pregnant, the cashier at Chick-fil-a screwed up my order...she GAVE me fries when I hadn't ordered fries. So to make it up to me, she gave me a second thing of fries and 2 pieces of pie. I ate it all.

    One time I went to McDonalds and drove just past the first pay window without realizing they were using it that morning. Unfortunately, the car behind us was a bit eager and scooted forward before we realized it was an issue. So we thought we would pay at the food window - no big deal, right?

    Wrong.

    We explained the situation to the cashier, who got the manager. We explained to the manager and do you know what he said?

    You ruined EVERYTHING!

    He then refused to serve us.


    Hey....at least they gave you your food. I ended up going to Denny's...

    NO THANKS! I ordered a burger with no bun or ketchup why the hell would i want a free pie (McDonalds) because you effed up an easy order. Get it right for the love of all that is holy! You work at McDonalds, it's not even remotely hard or mentally challenging work. Yeah, I think you deserve to make $15/hr. You are sitting pretty at $5/hr and should be thankful.

    Whoa, someone got up on the wrong side of the bed that day!

    OK. this is going to sound weird, but I have never had a McDonalds pie, a McFlurry, or any desert food from a fast food place. I have had a mcdonalds shake. vanilla. once when I was pregnant. It was awful.

    Honestly, If I'm gonna get an ice cream from a fast food place... it's Dairy Queen.... or a semi-local place called Braum's.... if it's a shake, it's gonna be either of those two places or Sonic...

    +1 for the DQ... Ours closed down a few years ago and I haven't been able to taste their sweet chilled deliciousness very often since. :/

    I don't think anyone has better soft-serve than DQ. Braum's has good EVERYTHING.

    And yeah I'm not eating ice cream at friggen McDonald's. If I'm going for it, I'm going for Dairy Queen as a Braum's is too far away from me (no I'm not crying..my eyes are sweating). And I wouldn't waste calories for a friggen McDonald's pie. It's going to be Perkin's pie and it will be GLORIOUS. I'd make babies with their peanut butter pies. They would be little half pie half human freaks of nature, but by god I would still love the crap out of them like a mother should.

    I work for the food distribution company that sells Perkins their pies. A few months ago someone in the warehouse messed up and left 3 cases (18 pies) of the peanut butter pie out on the cooler dock and they thawed. We couldn't ship them, so they put them all in the break room. I got to take 2 home with me, and I think they lasted less than a week :laugh:
