Well no weight gain this week:) , And I know for a fact I didnt eat enough this week.. Work has been so busy Im lucky I eat lunch.

Im new here and havent read all the posts but id love to try this challenge. I need something to motivate me. I have been doing really good for 3 weeks and all of a sudden I am craving food all day long! Hopefully by having a goal weight every week I can look forward to something. I dont know my starting weight nor do I know what I weigh now but I am guessing that I have lost about 10 lbs already. I will find someone with a scale so I can enter my weight and go from there.

Argh- small gain this week. I guess it was to be expected- I was out "speed dating" on Thursday and had 4 pints of beer! Oh and I was feeling it the next morning. On top of that, Friday was a bit brutal. My mom has Alzheimers and is mentaly ill and i was 'baby sitting" her. She went off the rails and predictably, I went right to my sister's fridge, which was full of leftover greasy Chinese food. Followed that with ice cream and chocolate bars.

Holy cow! I didn't even think to look at this but I was also in the obese category (how rude) and not I'm in the overweight category!!!! How exciting! I'm 1.8 away from normal!!! This is great since I was borderline diabetic just a month ago! I'm going to have to make an appointment to recheck my levels0 -

I have a confession though. I have pretty much screwed up with my healthy diet the past 4 days. Okay 'screwed up' might not be the right word. I've been exercising like usual, but have let myself go over about 400++ calories for a few days, and yesterday i didn't want to even log it all in.
i don't really know what's wrong, but i've lost that initial motivation that i had. I've been snacking a lot and just not feeling positive. In a way i feel like i'm losing sight of my goal. The last few weeks i've been visualizing that number on the goal, and working hard, then that number is what normall turns up on the scale. But lately, i've let it all go a bit.
Sorry for being a downer, but i'm finding myself saying 'i'll get back on track tomorrow' for about 4 days now, and i'm wondering if tomorrow will ever come.
I'm about 400 calories over already, and i haven't had dinner. but i'm not going to end it on a bad note. I'm off to work out and hopefully burn quite a few calories and have a healthy dinner. I just can't let myself undo all the hard work, and plus i'm almost at the 10 pound mark.
So if anyone has any tips for what they do when they feel like they're losing track of their goal i would love to hear any advice.
I hope tomorrow something will just 'happen' and i'll be back on track. I think my usual weekday routine will help.
Wishing everyone the best with their weight loss, and i hope that on friday I at least maintain. Or who knows? Maybe if i get back on track asap, there could be a loss!0 -
Hoping to get out of the 150s this week!!!! I think its unlikely though seeing as this weekend has pretty much been a write-off but it was a planned splurge for a special occasion. To be fair more alcohol (vodka and diet coke though) was consumed than food!! My very generous friend has lent me her cross trainer as she wasn't using it so this week is the week I get back on track with exercise- just been too busy!

Hi everyone: It's a new day. Everyone got some great plans for this week? I've had a good weekend. Had a date night with my hubby on Saturday, had a nice little visit with my sister and her family yesterday, and finally went to the doctor about my sinus problems. Nothing like a couple of embarrassing nose bleeds to make you take action. I'm on a strong antibiotic now which I take once a day for 15 days. Hoping that will work so I can get back to the gym. My week of eating and such really wasn't as controlled as it should have been but I did make a point of doing at least 20 minutes of some kind of exercise every day (which really was strenuous with the sinus thing going on) and it seems to have helped. Stepped on the scale this morning and I'm down a bit.
Well I'm off to get things tidied up here, I've got a guy coming over to install some contraption so I will now have high speed wireless internet ... unlimited ... woo hoo!! I'll pop back on later.

Magglett, sorry to hear you're sick but you're still losing weight so that is a great achievement!
I'm excited to say that i'm back on track after 4 not so great days consisting of way too much chocolate and cookies... I haven't weighed myself since, cus i'm scared and hoping it wont affect fridays weigh in too much.

Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well this week. I'm hoping for a 2lb loss to get me under 160lbs, but will be happy with 1lb. Usually I get to about 160lbs and then pack it all in but I've stuck to it for three weeks as opposed to my usual 1 week, despite having a bit more weight to lose this time due to Christmas! I hope nothing gets in my way, my schedule is starting to get busy as the second semester is about to kick off - thank God for Subway and Boots Shapers Meal Deal...
This Friday marks the end of my 4 weeks of dieting alone. Now, it's time to step up the game...EXERCISE!
I've ordered an HRM and the 30 day shred - these, alongside my current walking should hopefully boost my losses. I'm hoping to lose a few inches too; I'd love it if my clothes felt looser by the end of it!
My first NSV: I got into a dress that I couldn't zip-up before! I'm not big on dresses, but I really like this one! It was difficult, but I did it. It was very tight, so my next aim is for that dress to be comfortable. I'm going to try it on every four weeks and mark the differences in how it fits.

Excellent NSV!!! I love dresses myself! I always find they are a size or 2 smaller than my pants-HAHA! I think it's a great idea to start exercising now, I guarantee you will see great results! The HRM is the best invention ever. I LOVE mine! Good luck!

I've lost 1.8 pounds this week and weight in at 144.9 (65.9 kgs!) I am so happy and feel so great. And, i'm can zip up a skirt that i haven't been able to in ages
And despite a pretty bad weekend, and a few days before then, i have still lost weight I just wanted to thank kerri for motivating me to not give up. I find that seeing that i'm technically not overweight, i do not get motivation from my bf/friends/family to lose weight.
But most peopel don't know that 1) I'm extremely unfit 2) I have yo-yo dieted on and off since i was about 11 :S and 3) At 154 pounds and at the rate i was binge eating, it would have been honestly a matter of weeks till i was there.
So, i just wanted to thank everyone for motivating me to be happy and healthy, and understanding that we each have our own goals.
I hope next week to hit 143, and i'm really going to push myself to get there. I'm on day 3 of 30 day shred, so i've got a while to go!

I guess I should have shovelled more of the 2 feet of snow we had to burn up some more calories. No worries though more snow on the way. I'm still chugging along since I broke my ankle. I cut my calorie/carb/fat allowances back to try to balance out the major decrease in activity to accommodate.
