Well, this <ahem> "heavyweight" (by weight, not ability heh) managed to move his @ss 9.3 miles today via treadmill, stairmaster and recumbent bike ... thus holding toots at bay for what, one, maybe* two more days til she smokes right past me like I was standing still?!? :happy:
I too am resigned to my fate. GO TOOTS! :drinker:
ETA: Cool! Just noticed that I've completed a half marathon already! :happy:0 -

Walked 3.8 miles this morning. I caught a little cold yesterday so I didn't move much, just the occassional walk to the kitchen to eat my wife's apple pie :grumble:
Added another sheet to the google spreadsheet called 'All_Months'. It shows how many miles we moved every month & the totals since Nov 1 that I've been tracking these challenges. I intentionally left out the names of 35 people who joined but never moved their butts. Yesterday must have been the lull before the storm as all lastnight and today its been blowing gale force winds (fine to walk in one direction :laugh: not so good going the other way! ) managed to do 5 miles despite the weather lol.0

I did NOT feel up to working out today, just feel tired!!! But I got up and moved my *kitten*. I pushed it to my CLX PUSH Circuit 3 and did 4 miles of run/walks on the treadmill!!!0

3 miles treadmill before work + 2 mile outdoor walk (at least there was some sunshine today!) = 5 miles for me today.

Sorry, I totally missed that post! Usually from the stairmaster, treadmill and elliptical. I don't bike at the gym much. Sometimes I'll go running/walking outside, but that's usually only on my days off and after I've already done my morning work out.0 -

Added 2.9 miles playing 90 minutes of half-court basketball.
I know, this is NOT the most efficient way to add mileage - I could have walked 6 or biked 15+ miles in the same period of time - but in basketball it's hard to move around. I have to make my way through a lot of bodies that get in the way. The fun part is that it's a competitive team game and as such it can have these unique moments when you're 'in the zone'. It shows a lot about your character & your state of mind.
Even better it burns loads of calories :bigsmile:0 -

Today I got in FIRE 30 from the Turbo Fire series, hopped on the elliptical and cruised 3 miles in 27 minutes AND did some gut work!
ALL for 509 calories!!!!! 0 -

Seriously 998 calories???? What type of HRM do you have? Chest strap with watch?? Why I ask is,, it USUALLY is 100 calories PER mile jogging, less if you are walking !! It seems soooo high!!!4 miles today. 998 calories per new HRM so cool! Lets all met our goals this month. Good Luck everyone!!0 -
