Hi all! I've just joined MFP and losing weight with this challenge will be the first time I've actually lost weight!

Previously I used to be a bit more active in my job, but I'm now based at my desk all day long... so I find it's all the more important to be active before/after work and eat well at work, and not junk at my desk. :P My favourite cardio exercises are running and dancing, and have challenged myself to run five times a week this year, as I've always been a runner, but not a consistent one. I'm looking forward to the easter challenge and making a commitment to start the losing the weight I built up in uni.

    Starting weight: 171 lbs
    2/23 - 170 (-)
    3/2 - 168.5 (-)
    3/9 - 167.5 (-)
    3/16 - 166.5 (-)
    3/23 - 165 (-)
    3/30 - 164 (-)
    4/6 - 163 (-)
    4/13 - 161.5 (-)
    4/20 - 160 (-)

    Challenge goal weight: 160 lbs
    Long-term goal weight: 135 lbs

Hello, My name is Dixie! I'm a proud wife and the mommy of a 6 month old little boy. I joined MFP to lose the baby weight. I've been doing the 5-15 pounds by V-day challenge...haven't met my goal doing that challenge...but I got close. I started my journey at 195 lbs, found MFP at 191 lbs, and as of this morning, I weigh 188.4 lbs My ultimate goal is to reach 180-185 so I'm almost there..Yay! I know 180 probably sounds kind of high but not for me...I'm 6'4" so that should be just right  I've been doing the 30 Day Shred for a while and just recently added Banish Fat Boost Metabolism into the mix. I wish everyone the best of luck with this challenge and feel free to add me if you like! :flowerforyou:

Going for a modest 5 lb loss for this challenge since I'm nearing the finish line and the weight is coming off so slow...5 lbs should be realistic!

Hello. My name is Hillary. I am 32, married for 8.5 years to a wonderful man! I have two boys (7 and 6), and one girl (will be 5 in 17 days!). I homeschool all three of them, and love that I am able to do that! I enjoy reading, writing, hanging out with my husband, and actually walking (on the beach--we live in Myrtle Beach, on trails in the parks, etc.). I was diagnosed with PCOS this past summer...doctor put me on some prescripton weight loss pills, but I quit taking them because of the side-effects...

goal weight: 210 <---a goal that I have been trying to reach for a LONG time...have had a lot of up and down on the scale lately.
(My ultimate goal weight is 110...so this goal would just get me within the 100 lb. to lose range instead of 100+ lbs to lose...)

Hi everyone! I'm a professor who used to spend a lot more time hiking and crawling through wetlands than my current position allows- hence the recent weight gain. I am 5'4" and currently at 133 lbs- I have lost 9 lbs total since on MFP starting Dec 1, 2010. The first 5 lbs were relatively easy compared to the most recent 4. My final goal is 125 lbs and then I'll see how the bikini looks!

Hi, everyone! My name is Gia, and I'm going on a vacation to the Caribbean on April 22. I've been carrying around an "extra" 15 pounds since 2008 and failed many times to return to my previous weigh range of 135-140 lbs. Luckily, I only maintained an extra 15 or so pounds during the past three-plus years, but now ready to jump off the plateau and achieve my goal. I definitely need extra push and support. This challenge can a great motivator to help me reach my goal and get my bikini-ready body for my vacation!

Hello! My name is Cori, I've been married to my hubby for 11 great years and we have 5 kids. 8 year old twin boys, a 6 year old daughter, and 4 year old boy/girl twins. I started this weight loss journey on 7/4/10 - and have been pretty happy with my progress so far. I realized as I set my goal for this challenge how close I really am to losing 100 lbs - which feels pretty amazing!!!

I've lost 5 pounds in the v-day challenge, and i'm up for this challenge! This time around, i'd like to lose to go for the full 15 pounds! I created a workout schedule that includes P90X, Insanity, and Turbo Fire, and will be starting this coming Monday, which is conveniently the first day of this challenge! As for me, i'm 27 years old, I work full-time as a social worker. I just started this job two weeks ago and still trying to adjust to working every day. Beforehand, while unemployed, I had all the time in the world to work out, and with this intense schedule I've created for myself, i'll be one busy girl. I'm looking forward to this challenge, can't wait to start!

The last 2 weeks were horrid, TOM had me so bloated...it hasnt been like this in a long time...I gained over 8 pounds and although I lost 4 of that so far it is so hard to get my mind around it sometimes...
Sunday I will start fresh....I really need to get it together and keep pressing on

I hear you sugar_apple! I've been watching in dismay as my weight goes up and up and up...not looking forward to my monday weigh-in. Knowing that its just bloating doesn't seem to help! But, I'm just sticking to my guns. It can't be helped!

I missed this, so glad you reposted! I'm Melody. I am a SAHM to a 5 year old, trying to add to my family and trying to lose weight to make that more likely to happen and to be heatlhier. Still aiming for ONEderland here... and a ways to go after that. I'll do a starting WI tomorrow (my last WI was a total fluke) and then update on my regular WI days from there.
