goal weight: 210 <---a goal that I have been trying to reach for a LONG time...have had a lot of up and down on the scale lately.
(My ultimate goal weight is 110...so this goal would just get me within the 100 lb. to lose range instead of 100+ lbs to lose...)0 -

Gained two pounds from my V-day goal of 166. However, I lost about 3% body fat. Now I'm hoping to lose weight and body fat at the same time (tricky). Think I can do it though but it will take diet and exercise in just the right proportion. That's where mfp comes in. What a great tool to keep track and stay accountable. See you all next week - hopefully a little lighter and a with a little less body fat.

I'm a grad student. Which means I sit on my fanny a lot. A lot!
Basically...in the past year, I've been a lazy, inconsistent, something-or-other. I lost my initial zillion pounds through consistency, consistency, consistency. In the past year, I'm good for a week...then I'm off. Then I'm on, then I'm off. I lose 4 pounds, then gain it back. My goal for this challenge is to work on being consistent...at something. Doesn't matter what it is. I'm not going to promise that I'm going to train for a marathon, or go to the gym everyday, but that for this challenge, I'm going to write down my goals, every week, and to be consistent with them. That's it.
Starting weight...Highest weight was 175. Highest MFP weight was 135. Highest weight in the past year was 125.

I'm in! I'm Micki and I'm tired of being heavy! I'm ready for change. I'm 47, married 24.5 years and have one son. I'm a banker who sits on her butt all day talking on the phone, so weight loss has become a real challenge! Fun for me is sedentary too , I love needlework, reading, and painting. The warm weather will bring some fishing with my guys.

I realize I'm a week late, but this sounds fun! I'm new to MFP and this will be my first challenge. I'm a full time student and part time worker. I like to spend my time crocheting and watching movies. Lately, I've been forced into reading text books though, but i have found a way around getting reading homework done and losing weight. Introducing my new best friend: the stationary bicycle! Beware, sweaty hands can be uncomfortable when holding books. And now, for my goals
