haven't logged in in the past 3 -4 days. I did 2.5 then 4 then 3.5 but added wrong to my ticker, oh well, am not going to meet my goal this month. IF I had done all the walks I wanted to on the weekends I would have certainly made it . It's the first timein the 3 months I have been on this topic that I haven't made it. Everyone has done well. congratulations. It was good to see so many join in and do it. It really helps give that added push to get you going with walking. Being accountable.0

only managed 0.8 mile yesterday - hope to make up for it today!0

Well, last day of the month and I think I've got the 500 odd steps needed this morning walking down the 10 flights instead of taking the elevator. Won't know total until I check my Body Bug tonight. But I'm confident I've got what I needed. :glasses: This challenge was a great motivator - kept me walking. Thanks so much!0

How did everyone do on their goal? I got close this time, but I don't think I'm going to make it. Still have 3 hours left to go, and its the last day. Yesterday I got in a good 3 hour walk (10 miles!). But I was testing out my new toe shoes, and the bottom of my feet got burned. I guess even with the protective rubber, it wasn't enough to fight against the scolding hot pavement in Arizona. So now I have blisters on the bottoms of my feet
But hey 27 hours walked in 1 month isn't anything to scuff at.0 -

Hi Neurotic Virgo! Thanks for the link for the April challenge! I've been thinking of adding new exercise routines
and might take up swimming a few days a week!
Sorry to hear about your burnt soles! Wish I had something like that problem over here in Scotland!
I've went over my goal for March but that's not surprising as I was trying to estimate how much I can do"
See you in April!:flowerforyou:0 -
I exceeded my goal for March! Happy about that. I will set a goal and join you in April.0

Last check in for March. I passed my goal by 14 miles!!! YEA!!!!!!!!! I am going to try a 5K on Saturday, April 9th. Hopefully all these steps will help me complete the 5K.
Great Walking everyone. This has been fun!
3/26 - 4 miles
3/27 - 5 miles
3/28 - 9 miles
3/29 - 4 miles
3/30 - 0 miles
3/31 - 4 miles0 -
Ok, here's the grand total for March: my target was 1500 minutes of walking, and I've actually done 1890, which I estimate at my usual pace to be slightly over 100 miles! So I'm quite chuffed with that
A big "well done" to everybody who managed to hit their target :flowerforyou:0 -
Final count is in 4 me. Exceeded ny goal by a little more than 10,000. Wonder what I should aim for this month? Great challenge - helped me to change my habit of taking the elevator at work - now walk the 10 flights both ways, never thought I would do that :noway:0
