Lose 5 Pounds A Month April 2011 Challenge

Down a grand total of 0 lbs, 0 ounces!! :grumble: I'm getting tired of this plateau, especially since I'm trying my best to get unstuck, and nothing seems to be working. I went up a couple of pounds over last weekend (had some wine, tortilla chips - nothing really crazy), and I guess that's off now. The frustrating thing is that it doesn't seem I'm able to have any sort of "cheat" at all without gaining weight immediately, and then working my butt off to keep it off. I'm nowhere close to my goal, and it's seeming farther and farther out of reach. :sad:

Hello everyone,
My funny story of the day...
Today was "family sharing day" at my son's daycare (cute, right?) so I went in to work a little late so I could share with him. We all sat in a circle and went around saying what we thought our family member's fav...whatever was, color, pet, place, ect. When it came time for us to share what we thought our fav food was I said...
"Justin's fav food is strawberries" (then he says Yes or No, and what it really is) then he shares what he thinks mine is...
He said "My mommy LOVES diet food!"
It was really funny and my face went all red at first but then a few other kiddos were like "Ya, my mom eats diet food also" one little girl said "my mom says french fries makes her booty REALLY BIG"

At least we moms all got red at that point!

I think my scale broke. I start to work out this month and still eating about the same, but my weight went up 1.5 lbs. :mad:

Down 3lbs!
I was at a plateau the prior 2 weeks to our challenge starting. I was so relieved when I finally saw the scaling moving in the right direction. I kept changing everything up - what food I was eating & when, my exercising routines & when - with hopes of getting the weight loss to start again.

I got mad at my scale about 6 months ago and actually threw it away when I thought it was broken. The scale got me twice, though, becuase I just had to go out and buy a new one! Next week will be a better week! :flowerforyou:0 -
I'm down for the 5lbs a month!!! The only problem is that I can't even seem to shed 1lb and its already been about a month! Someone please give some tips (eatting or workout)

My weigh in is on sunday as usual and Im really hoping for the number that I have been seeing the past two days The 140's are soooo close I can feel them and dam do they feel good after six years:drinker: . NEVER AGAIN WILL I SEE 150's NEVER!!!:explode:

@Kickrz - I'm on my 2nd round with 30DS and LOVE it! Take your measurements - you'll totally see a difference as you progress over the 30 days. BTW - LOVE your weight tracker slogan "Lose it in '11" Mind if I pirate from you? :flowerforyou:0 -

I took a ton of measurements and pics too just to see. I always notice things when I see it in pictures.
