So, so exciting to see everyone's results! I love how even those who have gained are keeping it in perspective, too. I had a lovely surprise this morning - down two pounds since last week. That's a first in one week for me (though I know it might not be actually due to just fat loss.) Knowing I had to report really kept me motivated to resist my cravings and get in my exercise last week. Thanks, guys!

no worries. it took me forever to figure out the quote thing. lol.0 -
if anyone wants to do a challenge this weekend, it is: TO GIVE UP ONE UNHEALTHY FOOD ITEM FOR A WEEK. i will post the challenge on thursdays after the weigh-in. it will be a random idea and you can chose to participate or not. if you do, have fun exercising your willpower muscle!
*for some people, an unhealthy food item may be corn-fed beef; another might consider low-fat items overly-processed; for another it may be white pasta; another might be chocolate or sweets/sugar; another it can be pretzels or chips; for another it might be excessive salad dressing. unhealthy is subjective.0 -
I am in!! I want to lose at least 10 lbs by then. I will be in England studying at Harlaxton College on the Summer Solstice. They say that the Manor was built specifically with the solstice in mind. I want to experience it without feeling so HUGE!
Add me BP1140
Thanks!

Is it too late to join? I'm getting back on the wagon now, and I think joining a challenge might help provide an extra push.

skimming over my diary last week showed me that i have been giving in to the sweet-tooth monster a little too often. i've had a kit-kat, bowl of raspberry sherbert, 2 packages of nerds, a french fruit tart and 2 cookies. i will be giving up a food group instead of a specific food. sweets, you are outta here for the next week!0

Just thought I'd pop in - how was everyone's weekends? Did everyone stay on track?
I had a great weekend... logged everything & did well controlling what I ate. Had a good time running my 10k today. :drinker:0 -
OK, chocolate and other sweets are gone! I got rid of (thanks to my kids) the last of the chocolate Easter candy and even the last box of chocolate pudding. I am so ready to face this challenge!0

Well, I was doing great this past week with my exercise and now I have an upper respiratory infection! Ugh! I really hate getting sick, especially respiratory infections because they just totally shut me down. I almost acted stupidly and tried to push through another workout when I felt it coming on but I didn't. If you can't breath, you can't exercise right? This was not how I'd planned to start off this challenge. Guess I'll just have to work extra hard as soon as I'm well. Happy Monday everyone!0

Ok, I'll give up pizza... even if it's the kind with broccoli. Seriously my weakness and I don't need that white flour!0
