My goal is 60 for this month... I'm fairly new to running, but I have to run a certain number of km for my 10k training each week. This should be pretty easy to complete! Good luck with your challenges!

I had to take it easy today, and prove to myself, that, yes, I have an injury and need to maybe take a few days off from running.

I also think it's time for new shoes.
Yuck! Hope your injury's not severe & that new shoes fix the problem. I start getting blisters when my shoes are going but I have a buddy who gets shin splints & another friend who'll get knee troubles. Good shoes are vital to the runner aren't they?!?
Rest, Recuperate & come back strong!

Thanks, well I'm also sick; it forces me to take it easy.

My doctor said to stop running if my cold's below the neck and continue running if it's above the neck. I've had a chest cold since my last run 10/12 but plan to resume in the next few days.

Excited and nervous to try out something new. Reading a book called 80/20 Running that advocates doing 80% of your running at low intensity. Downloaded and accompanying app today that calculates what low intensity is for each person. As I expected, most of my runs were medium to high intensity. Ended up having to slow my pace down about 1 minute per mile to keep in low intensity for me (<155 bpm heart rate). Feel way less tired and my legs feel really good right now so I might just have to keep this up!

Finished another 3.4 miles today and I'm on pace to crush my goal for the month!

Was having such a great run this morning feeling recovered from my half last weekend and thinking about the next one in two weeks, when I ate it - no clue what happened but found myself skidding on my hands on the trail. Good news is nothing serious - just scrapped hands and one knee slightly. My left thumb got it the worse interestingly. It has been quite a while since I have fallen and usually I am aware at least of what I tripped over. Guess I need to stop day dreaming while I am running! :p
