Shanaber - hope you are okay, I fell in the street over my own 2 feet about 2 months ago. I was just thankful it was dark and people didn't see me LOL I had to laugh though because my first thought was to stop my watch until I got up and took inventory of my body before starting to run again! I knew at that minute I was a runner LOL
Once I got the dog off me (he was very upset and worried) the first thing I did was stop my watch and that was when I saw the blood on my hands! I rinsed off in the drinking fountain and we ran the rest of our run home... yes we are most definitely runners although I sometimes still can't quite believe I really am

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does these things! I ran the rest of the way in the dark (it was early morning) but i would feel the blood running down my arm and all I could think was boy and I'm gonna be pissed off if blood is getting on my good running pants LOL

Oops! I should probably post miles while I'm here.
I'm a bit envious of those of you who are almost to your goals. You make me feel like a slacker. I still need 50 to reach my goal, & I'd really like to reach 200 if I can.

I don't think you can remotely call 138.3 miles a slacker! Everything is relative

With only 2 long runs this month & nothing over 15 miles it seems like I'm behind where I could be.

Total So Far: 101.1 Miles - Goal Achieved
Everything from here on out is bonus. I have a goal of 500 miles for the year and at the end of September I realized I had only ran 200 which left me 100 miles per month for the rest of the year. So the more miles I get this month the less I "need" for the next two months.0 -

My conversion to miles is more and more inaccurate each time I post. Must be the rounding. I'm also having to make new tickers all the time as the url is not retained if I use different computers. So inconvenient.0 -
Added 5.31 on Sat and 4.44 today, taking me to 47.65/50. So I need 2.35 miles more, which is only 1 more run. So by Thursday, I will be done. Yay!!!0
