Hey everyone! here we go again. I'm in for another month. since the weather is nicer, I will be getting more walking in. Headed to the gym in a little bit to start this month off right. Shooting for 75 miles this month.Lately, I've been setting my goal too low, so I want to challenge myself to go 75 miles.0

I'm new to MFP I just joined last Monday so I'm on my 6th day so far and I have walked 15 miles so by the end of may I'm going to walk 60 miles. Hopefully I can do it lol0

Last month was pretty sad due to the bum foot. Not sure what the story will be this month (headed over to see the foot doctor on Tuesday) but I think I can do some shorter bike rides and will just start with 50 miles for now!0

I new to the challenge but would love to join. I really have no idea what is a reasonable goal for me so this month will be my test month. 50 miles in the month of May sounds like a nice starting point that I can reach. (12.5 miles a week)0

I just finished walking 5.94 miles. I walked to Pompano Park and walked around track 2 miles and walked back home.
The weather is gorgeous out, 80 degree's Sunny & a slight breeze. Now heading out on the boat to relax. You all have a great day.0 -

Go to www.tickerfactory.com. Just follow the directions to create an exercise ticker. Copy and paste your code into your signature her on MFP>0 -
I want to try this, but I'm not sure what a good goal would be. Is it just walking? Running? Or any forward movement?? LOL. I have been biking to work regularly, so if I count cycling miles, my goal would have to be set pretty high. If it's walking/running only, I'm a beginning runner, working on Couch to 5K, so the goal would be low!!0

@ Sararuth: You can add cycling miles, just make yourself a ticker and keep it updated. I dunno what a good goal is, I can tell you that the average goal in this thread is about 75 miles per month.
@ Janna: I can't keep track of minutes or calories or any other units. We only count miles or kilometers.

Okay. I'm going to try this with a goal of 150 miles.
I hesitate to even type that, because it seems so high, but I did some calculations between my biking to work and the running for C25K and it seems like a reasonably attainable goal if I keep up with the cycling I have already been doing. Plus, I went for an almost 20 mile ride with a friend today, so I'm already off to a really good start.

Got my first 5 miles under my belt!
I don't have any other races planned until May 30th, which is another 5 miler. So I gotta get 65 miles in between now and then.0 -

Got some Gardening in...but not counting that towards my challenge exercise, only Just Dance, Treadmill, Elliptical, Wii Fit & Jump Rope and of course regular walking which I do on my lunches. Now that I got some nice weather I should be able to do a lot more outdoorsy stuff! Hello Hiking!

Totally doing this challenge again. Upped my miles by 10. So I am going to try to do 60 miles this month. I went over my goal of 50 last month. I really like this challange.0
