    1. I will PUT MY scale in the BACK bathroom!!!! YES YES :D:):D
    2. I will do my Pilates for today (30 mins) YES. YES :):D:D
    3. I will start cleaning out cupboards in my kitchen! No :'(:'(
    4. TONIGHT I will take time for myself (bubble bath) No :'(:'(

    1. Remember portion control during MY Thanksgiving lunch!
    2. Get my run OR walk in!
    3. Again TONIGHT make time for myself!

    I just woke up bring on the day! Move, move, move!!!

    I did so good yesterday. So going to make my list the same, as these are the things I struggle with the most!

    1. Eat ONLY at the kitchen table, or when I am with other. No more eating in front of my computer, eating in front of the TV. That leads to mindless eating!
    2. Drink --- Water Water Water!!!

    Haven't been on here since last Thursday! Not a great way to take it 1 day at a time, and I blew it at 2 thanksgivings this weekend, but my holidays are over and I still managed not to gain anything...so I guess that is a success!
    From Nov 20th
    JFT - I will stick to my calorie goal - YES!
    JFT - I will not let the stress of the day get to me and enjoy all these crazy moments for what they are - such a blessing! - HAD SUCH A FUN DAY WITH MY KIDDOS AND ALL THEIR ACTIVITIES!
    JFT - I will do a random act of kindness - because that always makes me feel good and makes me feel like I can accomplish anything! - I DON'T THINK I DID THAT!

    • Cardio workout: 45 minute elliptical DONE
    • And eat mindfully at the department's Thanksgiving potluck...! YES!!! I DID!!!

    1. All the water - worth repeating
    2. Core workout on exercise ball
    3. No food after dinner

    This is great thank you! I'd really love it if I can find an online friend(s) that can help me stay motivated--and that I can do the same for!

    I just discovered this discussion thread and LOVE the idea! So here goes:

    Just for today, I will stay within my calorie goals.
    Just for today, I will stay active for at least three hours after I get off work (no sitting around watching tv).
    Just for today, I will attempt to ignore the number on the scale and focus on how much more I can do physically than I ever could before.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Enjoy family, friends and health! We're just sitting watch the parade since both of my kids are grown! We're going to a buffet with some friends later! Sunday hubby and I are having OURS Sunday!

    I like the poem! Thank you for sharing it. The day before Thanksgiving, I read this, and then copied it and changed it up a little to personalize it just for me. I printed it out and carried it with me when I went to Thanksgiving dinner. It served as an extra bit of armor for me as I negotiated my first ever diet Thanksgiving successfully.

    His last couple of days has been hard! Today, my husband and me are doing OUR Thanksgiving dinner! I will do portion control and NOT have dessert!!!!!

    Just found this thread, and I love this idea...as a stress/binge eater...well, a day at a time is a fantastic way to go about it.

    SO. Just for today:

    1. I will go to the gym (as it is getting there that is the hardest).
    2. I will clean and work on getting the Christmas decorations out (procrastinator extraordinaire here).
    3. I will write a blog tonight
    4. I will study.

    Just found this and I love the idea. So, just for today I will log everything as soon as I eat.
    Just for today I will do 10 mins of chair exercise/dance.
    Just for today I will drink 4 glasses of water.
    Just for today I will elevate my feet and legs to help control the swelling.
    Just for today I will begin my day with a prayer for power over food.
    Just for today I will get at least five hours instead of my usual three.

    Just for today: I will leave the rest of the Lay's S&V chips alone in the cupboard (although they fit well into my 'fatmeal' at lunch they won't work at my low carb and lean protein dinner)
    Just for today: I will drink all my water even if it means 3 big mugs of herbal tea this afternoon & evening.

    We are going to oppotuinity village to see the "Christmas Lighting"! These last couple of days went well BUT need to keep focus! In a couple of weeks, we'll going to have friends in town! I need to lose the few pounds before than!!!

    I have been missing getting on here, and feel again out of control. So going to get back to taking this one day at a time

    2. Drink water in the evening instead of "stress" eating
    3. Log EVERYTHING I eat today!

    I hope you guys are all doing better than I am! Too much eating over Thanksgiving, and now getting the sugar again out of my system, and getting back in control.

    I'm going to be so so happy WHEN we are FINALLY in Washington State! We've been TRYING for a month NOW to have someone, WE THOUGHT, could come to do maintence on our RV. He keeps coming up with excuses!!!!!! If I tell someone I'm going to do something, I DO IT!!!! Sorry, done with my rant, lol.

    Btw, we have a great time last night at oppotuinity village seeing the "Christmas Lighting" Plus, we found out my daughter and grand babies will be relocated in Washington in March, right behind us, yay!!!!!

    @Joan, sometimes stressful eating is my problem. I love your attitude about taking day by day!!!! Happy Tuesday, everyone!!!!

    • I will log as I go and drink ALL THE WATER -- FLOATING
    • I will get a 30 minute workout on my crosstrainer -- 35 minutes. CHECK.

    For 12/3, the plan:
    1. log as I go
    2. get up early and get a workout at the gym before work
    3. all the water. Just, all of it.
