Added sugars are not inherently bad... excessive added sugars can be bad...

What confuses me, however, is the constant battle about it. Do you really care that my gauge *for me* is whether it advances *my* overall health and weight loss efforts, and so for me I think m&m's are not healthy?

I care because you hurt little M&M's feelings he cant help it his candy coating has made him unhealthy and sick. He tries to make up for it by putting a little peanut inside, but he just never gets the credit like his big brother chickpea who gets all the kuddos for being able to go into pita bread

Exactly. Where he said full-fat mozzarella was bad, but never explained why...

He didn't explain the full fat thing but he explained the other reasons. I'd agree if the cheese contained transfats but other than that, I haven't made enemies of fat

Then why did you offer. Again, seems disingenuous.

Also...lulz at the google weak google it yourself ploy. You realize that people can see right through that right? Right?
I think she was calling your bluff. You claimed to have a "genuine interest", but you didn't.

If you were genuinely interested in anything, you would seek out knowledge on the subject and wouldn't even limit yourself to the Internet, much less a discussion board.

If you do not have enough interest to seek out information on your own, there really is no reason someone else to provide you with it.

If you want to learn, go learn. Nobody can stop you.

That post you made actually made no sense. All you did was list ingredients in a pizza and pick what you thought was unhealthy. Which there was absolutely no reason why it would have been healthy.

But could you pronounce it? That's what determines unhealthiness.

There's nothing inherently wrong with fresh, full-fat mozzarella. I understand he doesn't use it so that he can make room for other dietary fats in his pizza, but it isn't unhealthy which is the impression he left earlier.

Interesting, I wasn't aware that there was a rule on what belongs in a pizza.

There should be. Pepperoni - NO, pineapple - yes.

Oh, ok then. You are probably right that the untrue thing is the assumption that zombies are going to chase him. Although, it seems an odd thing to say, because most people realize that zombies aren't in fact, about to chase him without having it explained.

I think I remember you mentioning that a while back- you went like all dirty for your cut- and low carb clean for your bulk??

LOL- so silly now to look back- so much extra work!! LOL

Wait wait wait...it wasn't low-carb clean bulk. It was moderate-carb clean bulk. But yeah, I did it completely backwards...not on purpose, but I had already cut (to 150ishLOL) in 2011 eating "normal" foods and then discovered paleo in 2012 and decided to eat like a grown-*kitten* man bulk for a while. Decided paleo wasn't worth the effort, so dropped it just in time for the next cut.

    So. Much. Food.

I'm staging a revolution if the pizza ruling says no pepperoni
  • I generally agree with the OP's logic however I will say that I think what foods you eat does come into play a little. You could theoretically lose just as much weight eating 1400 calories of deep fried twinkies a day as you would eating 1400 calories of vegetables, but I think it might be healthier overall to eat the veggies.

you're saying pepperoni doesn't belong on a pizza- but pineapple does?

At no point- outside of sauce- does fruit belong on a pizza.

    Ever.

    Yuck. no.

    meat- cheese- sauce.
    yes.
    fruit? nope nope nope.

    So...disingenuous.

Being interested when someone makes an assertion does not mean that, based on conflicting time demands, it is a priority and that you want to invest the time to go out, and find something you do not even know the context of or whether you are going to find it.

Telling someone to google something after making an assertion is a weak retort.

    Pineapple and cream cheese pizza.

Pepperoni would be my second choice.

That's not what she said. She had a genuine interest. If her interest was in knowledge, she can go get more. There is always more to get.

If her interest is in mocking or insulting that poster, she doesn't need a link, lol.
