The one thing that really stands out, besides the obvious figures being smaller, is how much YOUNGER everybody looks. I swear most look like they have went back at least 10 years in age! Started my journey Dec 30 after a Doctor appointment. Started at 305 and down to 293 today. I have a very long road to travel. Thanks for the inspiration!

Not a long amount of time, but seeing a difference in 10 days has definitely boosted me to keep going, knowing that my body has already started changing. You can do it!

First was from around early 2013 I think. I honestly I am not entirely sure exactly what I weighed at the time. when i first signed up for MFP in 2012 i weighed in at 304. I got serious about my fitness on Feb 2014 and it's almost been a year for me, I have lost about 89 lbs so far. I'm 5'7".

Just wanted to say, the best advice I can offer......make working out and healthy eating a normal part of your routine, just like brushing your teeth. It's just something you do. Find something you enjoy doing for exercise, let music motivate you. As for food, BE PREPARED. Prep snacks and meals and leave room for treats too. I eat chocolate every night and never really feel deprived as I enjoy a nice lunch out every week. Also NO EXCUSES. For me personally, if I give myself an inch I take a mile....so I am very hard on myself when it comes to excuses. If I can't do an actual workout, I will be extra busy and active that day to make up for it.

I was about 190 on the left and 160 on the right.

How tall are you? I started at 191 and my first goal is 160 final goal is 145 I'm 5'7

I'm 5'6.. I still have another 10-15 pounds I would like to lose, but I'm pretty happy where I'm at for the moment :)

Hi there - how long did it take you to get from 190 - 160?
