Once upon a time, I lost about 57 pounds which started by counting all my calories. Very early on in the process, I learned that fast food was one of my main causes for my significant weight gain. My average meal from Wendy's in those days was about 1,500 calories. Of course, I still drank pop back then too. I don't drink it at all anymore.
Once I started counting the calories of everything I ate, it was easy to figure out what had caused me to get so out of shape.0
-
I reduced my beer intake and my large portions, plus eliminated my stress eating, mad eating and mindless eating,0

I've cut way back on beer, chips and milk. Also less cravings for chocolate and candies. Haven't noticed a change yet. It's been 2 months. Also for 2 months I'm exercising twice a week now. It's depressing, why give up chips and beer if there's no change?0

Soda. That was a big problem for me! I was drinking SOOOO many excess calories!0

Wheat and dairy - but only because they aggravate my autoimmune condition and cause crazy bloat and inflammation. Otherwise I still eat anything as long as it fits in my calories. Though 1300 calories of brownies is significantly less filling than 1300 calories of chicken and salad.0

Especially dihydrogen monoxide. If you want to bathe yourself in that nastiness, go right ahead.0

Wheat. I found out I was allergic (cause of itchy rash, sore muscles, and foggy brain). When I first removed it from my diet I lost a bunch of weight. Then I found gluten free substitutes and... well you can guess.0

McDonalds, Burger King, Hardee's, Wards places like that. But I'm back eating at them and I'm gaining so I've got to get this under control again before I weight 400+ lbs again 0 0

Cut nothing but calories, but that also means a lot less of the really calorie-dense things... especially if it's nothing but calories as sugar (such as soda. Can't really remember the last time I had a soda actually).0
