Here we go AGAIN, Lifes been crazy busy, my daughter found a place about 1 1/2 from me so the next couple weeks are going to STAY busy! Wednesday, we took the grand babies to the zoo. Boy, four year olds have minds of their own, lol.

Happy Friday All!! Well yesterday I got in my water but went way over on calories. I LOVE to run in the mornings, the endorphins really get flowing but I hurt my foot and couldn't run yesterday so I pigged out last night. I don't think I can go running for a few days so I am pretty bummed, without the cardio I can only eat 1200 calories which just seems impossible to me. So just for today 3/20
1) eat veggies so I feel full
2) know that I will NOT starve to death on 1200 calories
3) do not run no matter how much I want too, I have to let my foot heal. I can live without those endorphins for a few days.

Ugggg...yesterday ended up being one of those unpredictable days when life spins completely out of control. Good thing that doesn't happen often!

Just for today eat healthy and nutritious foods.
Walk 6 miles on the WATP video.
Walk to a meeting this evening and walk home so I get a little bit of fresh air.
Try to nourish my soul as well as my body.

Love this thread! Another day being true to myself. For me, that's mostly what bothers me when I have a bad day...breaking my word to myself. I like making a promise to myself and keeping it.
Today:
Not let the scale (and it's lack of movement) ruin my day. Persistence!
Log everything and check in at night to make sure it's completed
Don't allow getting busy with work to translate into eating poorly
cut down on the avocado's, they are bumping my calories too much

yesterday not the greatest food choices and not a lot of walking largely because of the rain and going out for lunch and just plain tired
but just for today. 1) I will walk over 5000 steps today. my weekends are usually incredibly low in steps so I need to work on that to keep my progress going. 2) instead of browsing and grazing I will eat actual meals today. I'm hoping to not regain the weight over the weekend

Don't try to make up for eating badly* yesterday by starving yourself or overdoing it at the gym today. Days like yesterday happen. Let it go. Just learn from it, DO NOT beat yourself up over it, and get back on the program today. Moderation!

Yesterday, 3/13
1. try and get in a walk or ellipitical Worked in the yard 2 hrs, then went on my 4.5 mile walk!
2. DO NOT get on the scale I have to just peek - and luckly my weight is not up because of my bad day 2 days ago.
3. Keep sugar within MFP guidelines Hard to do, but doing it.
4. Vision myself 20 lbs lighter by next Christmas - keep that visual picture alive.
Just for today, saturday, 3/14
1. drink lots of water since I plan on working in the yard a lot today. I am seeing a pattern that if I am actually thirsty, I want ice cream or sweets. It is thirst, not hunger!

Just for today, I'll do a set of crunches on my ball.
I had an "Aha" experience regarding my just for today's. I do not set weight loss as a just for today, because I weigh what I weigh. Gravity, you know. Instead I choose something I can control, like the amount of water I consume, that affects my life quality and my weight loss.
And I find it works best for me to pick just one thing. Something perhaps I didn't do so well on the day before. That way I can focus and achieve it.

2) Do 20-30 minutes of cardio, even though I know I will hate it the entire time.
3) Hit my protein goal for the day.
