Okay, I'm going to attack myself. Just realized the second sentence that I referred to isn't really a sentence, just because it started with a capital letter and ended in a period. Reword to say: "This is often the case . . . "

You should be banned from the forums for attacking someone.

When you blow up your avatar, it messes up the whole thread and makes it hard to read. Just letting you know.

That may be a setting on your computer or phone. The thread looks fine to me.

You can be as condescending as you want.
    All calories are not =
If for example I eat high fat high sugar diet versus a diet of low fat low sugar I can not eat as many calories. So yes the amount of calories you can eat will change based on what type of foods you are eating.

WTF are you talking about... This statement is completely not true.

Yeah, I'm noticing that. When I get home I'll resize them all to a more appropriate size for foruming.

I've seen people get "attacked" (for lack of a better term) in many threads but this is definitely NOT one of them. Some folks are a little too sensitive to go on public forums.

I dont agree with this at all. This young woman IS being attacked and its so rude.

    Of course you would...

Without getting into the B.S of the thread.
All calories do not impact your weight in the same way. Everything is relative to your weight.
    Test it out.

Go on a high fat high, high sugar diet and eat 2,000 calories for 2 weeks.
How much did it translate into weight loss for you?
Go on a low fat low sugar diet and eat 2,000 calories for 2 weeks.
Extrapolate the number. Do it for several weeks if you are not satisfied with the results.
How much did that translate into weight loss for you?

Again you can lose weight eating anything, but everything is relative to you weight if that is what you are trying to lose. Which was the OP question.

All calories are not = when it comes to weight loss. Hope that helps.

How much did you lose or gain eating a high fat, high sugar diet of 2,000 calories for two weeks? How much did you lose or gain going on a low fat, low sugar diet for two weeks? Waiting for your answers with bated breath.

My goal is around 1,400. Why should I eat 2,000?

Are you saying that someone can eat more calories on a low fat/low sugar diet? If so, please share specifics. You are basing this opinion on something. What are you basing it on?

First of all, 2 weeks is not an appropriate amount of time to judge weight loss in the form of fat.

Water weight, sure. If you eat high carbs, then cut out the carbs, you could lose upwards of 20lbs in 2 weeks, but it'll be 95% water.

Then suddenly switch back to high carbs and you'll put all of the weight back on.

That happened to me when I first attempted the elimination diet (to attempt to discover food sensitivities - not weight related).

Besides, one person testing one theory is not science.

Please post scientific evidence to back up your theory, otherwise I'll have to continue to state that you are full of crap.

I've been eating around 2000. Some weeks I eat really low sugar, other weeks I don't.

I seem to be maintaining either way.
