I think I jumped back into the workouts a little too strongly  I can feel the stiffness in my back, upper arms and ribs from the Fire 30 I did on Monday. It is good kind of pain, but still pain  I am following the prep schedule so tonight should be a rest night, but I am planning to do something a little less intesnse to keep my body moving and the momentum going.0

Hey All,
I kind of fell off the wagon for 2 days - Monday I just ate and ate everything I wanted and went over by 1000 calories and didn't have time to work out, and then yesterday I got back in the game food wise and ate smart, but again didn't have time for my turbofire (had to spend some quality time with my future mother in law, so I guess that was worth it). Today I'm eating smart, did fire 55 (was only scheduled for fire 45) for 570 calories and CLX push circuit 2 for another 260 calories. I feel great. Tonight's goal is going to be to read all the posts of yours I've missed since I wasn't checking in the last 2 days. From the looks of it everyone's doing awesome and welcome to the newbies! I am also excited that I am getting to bring the entree to my fiance's family's weekly dinner - finally a chance to bring something healthy so that I don't have to stress or save calories for that meal!!! Going to make crock-pot chili loaded with fiber filled beans and I'll also get to suck all the fat off the meat AND use my canned tomatoes from last summer - YUM YUM YUM.
Can you tell I'm still running off of endorphins from my workout, so please to be back!0 -
I feel a little silly joining this thread so far into it...but I'm just getting into myfitnesspal and could use the support! I'm on week 6 of Turbo Fire and loving every minute of it! So far I've lost 14 pounds doing TF and using myfitnesspal. I pretty much know the moves by now, but every so often I totally lose my place and forget what the heck I;m supposed to do and just have to laugh and keep going. Chalene is so motivating and fun, the classes fly by. I love doing workout videos but none have ever kept me coming back like these. If I had to pick a favorite I suppose it would be 55EZ, although I think 45 has the funnest music. I love 30, but its over too quick! Right about the time when she says "here's your finale!" is when I really start to get into it! I have yet to buy the advanced dvds, but I definately plan to. Its so motivating to read through all these posts, so thanks for the support and keep up the good work!! You're doing awesome!!0

Well today is a rest day and I am actually happy about it. I need to catch up on the house cleaning and laundry. Good luck to all of you who are working out today, I hope you totally rock it and get an awesome burn!
Welcome to kelleypf, I am also on week 6!0 -

Today was rest day- first one in 2 1/2 weeks and I took it. Had to really convince myself NOT to workout today, but I'm glad I didn't. (It's especially hard when I see everyone else doing awesome workouts.) Everyone is doing great and I love this thread...keep it going:happy:
Have a good evening!

I gained 2lbs.
My clothes definitely fit a little better so maybe it's all muscle??? The thing is I'm still depressed and mad about it. The whole "muscle weighs more than fat" fact just doesn't do it for me. I neeeeeeeeed to see those lower numbers on the scale. I'm sure it's because I've gone over my calories 2-3x a week... every week. Eating is the hardest thing for me, I love food, LOVE IT! sigh... got to focus on the goal, not the food. ugh.
Not resting today, gonna rest tomorrow instead. HIIT 15 and whatever else is on the schedule (tone 30?), here I come. Maybe even with hand weights to punish myself. :devil:0 -

I'm up 2 pounds right now too- mine is because it's that time of the month. Try not to get on the scale every day and take measurements....I know, easier said than done. I want to see numbers too.0 -
Did Fire 45 EZ for the first time today- crazy fast, good burn, fun songs, NOT EZ!
100% Agreed! I love that one!0 -
Rest day today. I missed working out, but I also really needed to get a little extra sleep, so it worked out well for me.
Keep pushing play, ladies!! :flowerforyou:0 -

Know what?? I used to gain a couple of pounds (when I used a scale...I don't weigh any more I do inches) before I had a drop,,,I think it has something to do with water retention...not sure, but I would definitely check again in a couple of days, I bet you will drop!0 -
hello everyone!
just checking in to see everyone's posts. today is my rest day and even though i was eating very regularly, i still felt unsatisfied. i literally wanted to eat everything. i've come to the conclusion that i'm either PMSing or not drinking enough water....or most likely both. all in all, i only went over 43 calories. no biggie - i was under yesterday.
i went to a screening of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: STRANGER TIDES tonight and didn't have any popcorn! boo-yah! how's that for resistance?
@muffintop - i know what you mean about being discouraged when your weight goes up. i was freaking out last week about a 1.5 lb difference on my home scale vs the doctor's scale. The other girls are right though - scales can sometimes be evil. there are a number of different factors that can cause your weight to fluctuate. if you are starting to see a change in your clothing, something good is definitely working internally too! also if nutrition is a problem, maybe set that as a weekly goal. not saying to be drastic and cut out everything, but make baby steps into the right direction. good luck girlie - your hard work will pay off - believe that!
@stacio and @myroots - yeah 45EZ is def. not easy! thank goodness for the music in that workout otherwise i doubt i'd have my second wind!
ohhh and i see a few more newbies! i'm loving it - hi guys - welcome aboard!
as usual to my regs - stay fabulous and keep pressing play....you guys are doing such a great job!
ok, this still-hungry girl is signing out.
adios amigos!

Sorry I have been MIA for the last couple of days but I have been having a wonderful time serving in Jury Duty. ::insert sarcasm:: I have been keeping up with my workouts and now I'm on week 10. Yesterday was a rest day and today I'm doing HIIT 25 and Tone 30.0

Try not to beat yourself up too much! If the scale has become your enemy, take a break from it for a while. I try to only weigh myself once a week, and I feel like I get more accurate numbers that way. You're bound to fluctuate day by day.
Also, maybe try to reevaluate what you're eating. I don't follow the Turbo Fire diet plan very strictly, but I have made an effort to do a food make-over and I try to keep an eye open for smarter eating choices all the time. Believe me when I say I have a BIG appetite for a woman! I'm a big snacker, especially when it comes to salty stuff like crackers and cheese. My tip for all the hungry girls out there is this - keep eating! I snack all day long - just keep your snacks healthy and low-cal. And if you're still hungy??? Don't underestimate the power of a stick of gum!!0 -

Hi Guys! I am starting TurboFire on Monday and just joined my fitness pal today... anyone else just starting or wanting to start over? I need some motivation!
I just started on Sunday, you are in good company. Not going to start over, but I'm close enough to you
I think I have to do the 45EZ tonight. Not done it so far, but I love that some of you say its your fave.
My knee is hurting today. I hate it. It hasn't been hurting in the workouts so that's good. I had an MRI and nothing wrong with it, just pain. Ibuprofen works though, so I'll be taking some soon.0 -
I am still waiting for my Turbo Fire to come in the mail. Hope to get it today and will start Monday! So excited I found new TF friends. Will be adding all of you guys so I can see how everyone is doing!0

Great, I can't wait to work out today except it's freaking Fire 30 and I hate it. But I am determined to pretend to looove it. So here goes.
I love the way it makes me sweat and I love that it is short. I love that even though it's 30 minutes for some reason I find it more challenging physically than some of the others. And that's all I've got. Now to get home and get the baby down for a nap and find something for the 7 year old to do so I can make this the best workout ever! (ugh, pretending like I love Fire 30 makes me so sick I think that I just threw up in my mouth a little)0 -

I just did Fire 30 and I think I figured it out...It's the music...It's the Bobby Brown song. Mute the TV!!!! LMAO0 -
I think that you are right about the music on Fire 30. I did it today without the weighted gloves and it was a lot easier...too easy. But with the gloves it's too hard. I can't win, at least I'm done with it for the week.
Fire 30 & Tone 30 for a total of 524 calories burned.
Tomorrow is Fire 55EZ and the music is soooo much better. I rather enjoy 55EZ so I am more excited for this one. Great job everyone you are all awesome! Welcome to all of the newbies!0 -

I did HIIT 20 this morning. I was supposed to do Sculpt 30 but I ran out of time... couldn't be late for work!
I'm going to do something tonight, but I'm trying to decide what to do. I'm not crazy about the sculpt one... actually, I don't like using the bands really at all. They are just awkward to me. I'm not sure if I'm going to use free weights or try a different strength workout tonight. We shall see!
I'm enjoying reading everyone's progress so far!0
