New and excited about this thread! 100 miles is a bit ambitious for me but will give it a shot. Here's where I am so far ...

    5/2: 1.38 mile walking dog
    5/3: 6.70 mile jog

    May

    01 Fri - 3.2 km walking (35 min)
    02 Sat - 37.43 km cycling (120 min)
    03 Sun - 31.04 km cycling (100 min)

So ... my goal is to move 500 km or as close to it as possible again. :) Little bit more challenging now as this is a busy month with work and university ... plus it is winter, and darkness falls on my way home from work now.

WELCOME too the Newbies.....The goal is too decide on YOUR GOAL and try too reach it. As I have said many times before ..we may not always reach completely but we give it our best try...

May 3rd I did get in a couple of miles but that was in shops while waiting on my dog who ate pieces of a really thick paper towel and had too have IV fluids. We were there most of the day. AFter Xrays they did let her come home. I have too feed her a tablespoon of special food every 2 hours and she takes a daily pill. I do plan too get a walk some time today...

As of MAY 3RD I have in 11 walking miles.....

Well my goodness!!! Look at all you guys! I'm so stoked to see all the new Milers. A special welcome to each one of you!! We just have a grand ole time here on Mama Jeannie's Thread. <3 And a huge "Hello and WELCOME BACK" to you, Jeannie! We sure missed you and are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your vacation.

A quick shout out to the April finishers. Everyone did so great. Let's keep it up for this month. I'm sticking with my 100 mile goal. That in addition to my lifting routine works very well for me and keeps me MOVING!!

Ok, so I'm a bit late in logging for May but here are my catch-up numbers:

    10.47 total miles

I'm back!!!! Was away for 4 days, so didn't start exercising yet. Today, I will go for a nice long walk, and hopefully on Wednesday, I will get the full approval from doctor to be able to go back to full steam ahead on exercise. But for now, I will continue to do what I can. Be back later to log in my walk!!!!

My target for May will be 200 miles running and walking combined.

So far 3 miles running, 7 miles hiking and 18 miles cycling - total 28 miles.

    Off to a good start!

YEP it is a move challenge. You can walk, run, jog, bike, fly if you dare lol....

I'm hoping to get in a little bit of canoeing ... if the wintery conditions hold off just a bit longer. However, there's a big storm going on here now predicted to continue into the weekend ... gale force winds, lots of rain. Not really good canoeing weather. :)
