lol Mandy! I don't blame you. I have a treadmill but I use it sparingly..lol I would rather walk outside. The very coldest of days I use it. The rest of the time I brave the cold IF it is at least 40F. I am HAPPY IT IS SPRING although we seem too have surpassed Spring. We are having 80 degrees temps and THAT is summer weather. .NOPE NOT COMPLAINING!!!!
It is SO GOOD TOO SEE SO MANY people on my little ole thread. I was always concerned people would not get along. I don't see that here. I see many motivating, uplifting, encouraging peoples. SO HAPPY TOO BE PART OF THIS GROUP...
We had a busy day yesterday. I walked the girls early morning and then we were off too the Big city too run errands and take a disabled cousin too the movies. All in all I DID get in 4 walking miles in-between all the busy...
TOTAL as of MAY 6TH............24 walking Miles...

Edited to say... Hey Jeannie! Didn't see your post as it was on the next page. Duh... But isn't it so encouraging to have a group of people just GETTING ALONG? I mean, in this crazy world of social media rage and diarrhea of the mouth of the anger-infused public... Yes, this little group is quite the oasis of JOY and SMILES and MILES!
You guys have an incredibly fantastic weekend and before I go I just have to share a joke that my 13 year old told me:

YES!!!! Finally got the okay to go back to full workouts and no ankle brace. Dr. did say though no more running or jogging and to ease myself back in. Just so happy. Now for some catch up!!!

Well we actually did one last SLOW walk. (1.0 Mile) It was such a gorgeous day. I probably will not get this many miles in tomorrow. It was good too have my husband home today....

Cycled to work this morning, 9 miles. Unfortunately it rained this afternoon so hubby saved the day by putting it in the car and bringing me home.

lol mandy. One day a few weeks ago the girls and I were walking. It started raining. My husband was coming for us but did not know which way we went. Luckily we were just around the corner so we did not get all that wet......We are having a bit of a heat spell. Warmer than usual for this time of year.
TODAY was a good day. A busy day. I've walked, I've done some chores and I've been outside pulling weeds. Another slower walk...TIRED... today 4.0 miles....

Rest day yesterday, which was hard as mentally I wanted to get out on the bike but physically I still ached from the gym. Which is a good thing as usually it's my brain that keeps me lazy.
Tonight a 2 mile swift walk to the pub. Yes there was beer followed by rum, but for me it's all about the activity.
Plus I'm feeling glum. I'm in the UK. And today was enough reason to feel glum.
Out on the bike tomorrow.
Cycling - 1/10 hours (11 miles so far)
Walking - 12/50 miles (includes anything above 1 mile showing on my fitbit)
Swim - 0/100 laps
Lindy Hop class - 1/4 times0 -

Late last night (after I posted) the girls and I did another 1.5 Mile walk. I did not come back as I was too lazy too come back online...
This morning the girls and I got in 3.25 Miles....
Later I went too the Flea Market. Another 2.25 mile walk....
All three totals....7.0 walking miles....

So ... my goal is to move 500 km or as close to it as possible again. Little bit more challenging now as this is a busy month with work and university ... plus it is winter, and darkness falls on my way home from work now.
04 Mon - 4 km walking (50 min) ... all utility walking, commuting to work, walking between work and uni
Plus I did a 35 min stair climbing workout in the evening. My yard is full of little sets of stairs. The longest one is 7 steps so I mainly focused on that one, up and down, up and down, but I also jogged between the others and did them too for some variety. In total, just over 1000 stairs climbed.
Plus 10 min upper body weights workout.
05 Tues - 4.8 km walking (60 min) ... again, all utility walking.
Sub-total:
Walking: 12 km (7.4 miles)
Cycling: 68.47 km (42.5 miles)
Time: 365 min (6 h 5 min) walking & cycling + 45 min stairs & weights
Hmmm ... I haven't logged in here in a little while ...
06 Wed - 2.8 km walking (35 min)
07 Thurs - 5.3 km walking (65 min)
08 Fri - 3.8 km walking (45 min)
09 Sat - 27.5 km cycling (85 min) ... relatively flat ride on the Cycleway
10 Sun - 41.03 km cycling (120 min) ... hilly ride up behind our place 764 metres of climbing.
Sub-total:
Walking: 23.9 km (14.8 miles)
Cycling: 137 km (85.1 miles)
Time: 715 min (11 h 55 min) walking & cycling + 45 min stairs & weights
