    Back at home and will get back to thorough tracking, serious exercising and daily-goal setting. I actually did track for most of the week that I was gone, and I did get lots of steps even though I didn't have time for a real workout.

    I turn 40 on Friday and will absolutely NOT reach my goal by then. Oh well.

    Monday:
    1. 12,000 steps :(
    2. Lift weights :)
    3. Stay under 100 G carbs :)
    4. Get full 25 G of fiber :neutral:

    Tuesday:
    1. 10,000 steps
    2. Finish all heavy gardening projects
    3. Stay under 100 G carbs

    Hi, I am Chitra. I am starting my MFP journey once again.... I found this thread super motivating and I'd like to be a part of it :)

    Just for today:
    1. Log everything
    2. 1200 calories
    3. min 8 glass of water

    2. Under basic calorie goal. No eating back exercise calls! :)
    3. 10x6 abs crunches. :)

    1. 10,000+ steps. Now that I've finally reached this target I am determined to maintain it. :) 11,129

    3. Add lunges to my legs routine. :)
    4. Finish the tote bag I have been making by hand in patchwork. Machine sewing for the next one. :/ almost done.

    5. Pay attention to carbs/fat/protein balance. I need to eat more protein and less fat.

    Just for today, June 2, Tuesday, I will:
    1. Take a shower. :)
    2. Leave the apartment. :(
    3. Walk at least a mile. :(
    4. Clean the kitchen. :)
    5. Not go back to bed. :)
    6. Listen to my weight loss hypnosis session at least twice. :)

    Just for today, June 3, Wednesday, I will:
    1. Go to my doctor's appointment.
    2. Clean the bathroom.
    3. Not exceed my allotted calories.
    4. Not go back to bed.
    5. Listen to my weight loss hypnosis session at least 3 times.
    6. Drink at least 14 cups of water.

    JFT - find a walking trail and get my steps in.

    Yesterday I was in the car for a 9 hr drive to visit our son. I only got in 7375 steps. And I had to jog around his family room last night just to get those.

    JFT - also stay below my maintenance calories. I was over 89 calories yesterday. If only I had not had that Mic Ultra!!!

    JFT, i will:
    1: not beat myself up for eating 7 almonds in the middle of the night when i woke up hungry
    2: take a long bicycle ride and not eat back all the calories used
    3: come back here tonight (when i have more time) and support others :)
    4: eat less fruit than i did yesterday (even too much fructose makes me cranky, such a PITA)

    @aerochic42: Good job! I'll be rooting (sp?) for you! Just think of all the $ you'll save, avoiding the vending machine! If you put your change in a jar for every time you feel tempted, maybe at the end of the week/month you can treat yourself to something (non-food), like new music or something!!!!
    @ruby70: Good job your way, too! It is hard to come back after awhile...but I just love to see your sweet face! Loved the bird photos...both my son and I really enjoy birding. He too, has been tracking every nest (robins, bluebirds, kestrals)! Enjoy your work-out & salad at lunch.

    @bri170lb: Zumba is sooooo much fun! Thanks for the idea--I can do a session off of the computer coz it is rainy out today!! Enjoy your bible study!
    @vicki1947: Enjoy your visit w. son's family and grandchildren! Yeah, car rides are rough...maybe your exercise on vacation will look different than 10,000 steps, like playing kickball or some other fun with those precious grandkiddos? :) .

    Hello, all. I found this thread by accident, but am so glad I did. I have been on my weight loss journey since January and have lost 46 pounds so far. Have 34 more pounds to get to my goal.

    Just For Today.....
    1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water
    2. Go to the Abs class at the gym that I signed up for last night
    3. Stay AWAY from the jar of peanut butter in the pantry that keeps calling my name!!!!

    2. keep sugar grams below MFP guidelines :):) 73 grams of sugar yesterday, MFP guidelines 83 -- so UNDER!!
    3. drink water :):)
    4. 30 minutes min either walking or on the ellipitical :) Walked 90 minutes

    Did really good yesterday, now hoping to add another good day.
