Running 4 miles yesterday in SHORTS! I used to never do that because the material would bunch up between my legs. No longer an issue! Wish I'd figured this out last summer - I'd have been a lot cooler and more tan. LOL!1

I just bought quite a few size medium shirts last night- I was getting so close to almost having to buy XL for a while there. Over memorial weekend I completed the Bolder Boulder 10k- I never thought I would enjoy running!1

Bought new pants in size 16—down from 16W, but it's a change! I *might* could have gone to a 14, but I would have been self-conscious.
My favorite black dress fits again without me looking like a stuffed sausage. The only bummer is I don't have to get a new dress.
I bought a new skirt and could have gotten the L, but went with the XL because it was a teeny bit more flattering, though loose.
Belly has noticeably shrank.
And I've been doing well, not perfect, but OK at my new workout plan. I even downloaded a free interval timer that I like a LOT better than RunKeeper!
Most of my victories are very materialistic0 -

Bought this dress 10 years ago (without trying it on) and it didn't fit. Was too small! I loved the cute print and even though I clean my closet out every year and donate to the Red Cross I always kept this dress. And guess what? Now it fits - and it's almost too big!
I adore your dress! You look so great in it too!!0 -
I was in the shower the other day and realized there was less buttocks to reach around to clean. There was also less tummy for cleaning!

I have a book of swim training workouts, which I finally dug out of the bookcase last week. Yesterday I managed to complete an entire set - which was over 2km and had me swimming for an hour. It felt good to feel a bit pushed instead of my usual slow grind when I'm not following a plan. And it's the farthest I've swum in a long time. And I'm not really sore today either. Yay!1

I think I posted having been able to wear an outfit that had been in my closet for 10 years. The other one - OMG! Obliques! I spotted my obliques!! (I don't use a full length mirror at home; while at a hotel recently I was changing clothes in front of a mirror (putting on a swimsuit!) and spotted my obliques. Or at least some abdominal muscle set. I don't really care which one.)4

Towel wrapped all the way around me tonight.
Not 'around but not really' - not 'around but I have to hold it together here, like so' - around around.4 -
I wear shorts and skirts now. And think I have great looking legs.
I used to say I didn't wear them because I live in a city, but it was really because I was insecure and didn't want people looking at me.2 -

I didn't want to die during my strength fitness class this morning. I actually asked the trainer to check if I was doing it correctly as they seemed too easy!
Yaaayyyyyy!!!!! I'm getting fit! She's bumping up my weights next class!0 -

When I saw this comic image a year ago I knew I had to do this costume for comicon. Only problem was I didn't have the arms for it. This specific shoulder v was the whole reason I wanted to do the costume but I knew it wouldn't look like that on me. 7 months out in Nov I joined the gym and committed to having my very own shoulder V for comicon. Here is my results:

Going on vacation next week. Two months ago set myself a goal that some smaller shirts and shorts would fit in time for my trip. Tried them on last night with success! Will be great to wear clothes that fit well, it's amazing how quickly my old gear has become very baggy.1

I have three pairs of jeans that I rotate between, and now all of them feel too big! Guess I need to go shopping soon.0

Getting called bigman at the gym, but in a positive way. Odd in a way but definitely made me feel good.2

Two friends called me tiny when they saw a recent picture of me.2

Just back from nine days in Ibiza and I ran THREE times - I've been doing this healthy lifestyle thing for several years now but have still always seen holiday time as time to relax, eat, drink and be merry - this is the first time I've ever taken my running gear with a plan to get a few good workouts in and I did it1

Been able to resist the sweets people bring in to work (yesterday it was homemade Paydays- Mmmmm- but I didn't have any despite having to walk by them many times)- and last night rode my recumbent trike 18 miles like it was nothing. I never thought I would be able to just go ride that far.2

I got into wheel pose for the first time unassisted in yoga class today. So proud of myself. We've been doing a back bends series for the past few weeks and I can definitely see the progress I have been making, especially with my upper body strength. Now if I could just manage some kind of handstand...0

Walking past the sweets several times is awesome! I did that yesterday too with donuts. I love donuts. LOVE. And despite two stressful days at work, I didn't eat my feelings but cycled really hard instead. I'm 46 and just blew by the younger people on the cycling path.

I have a 3.1 mile route that I run/walk 5/6 days a week. I have my c25k app and an audio book running as I go along. Last night my sister in law called after the first mile and as I was running I could still talk to her without being winded( my first nsv) and I did not realize that during a call my c25k app would not tell me when to stop running and when I realized what happened I was 2 miles down the road! Granted based on time measurements I was running relatively slowly but I have never ran 2 miles before without stopping. Speed will come, I am more concerned with the endurance part of it

Ahh another one! A fitness inspiration page on Instagram liked my gym selfie! Never thought THAT could happen lol!0

According to the NIH website I am no longer obese, just really really overweight. Huzzah!3

I can now bench over the max I could do in high school (you know the story, "in high school I once benched...").1

At church on Sunday a nice snowbird lady in my class asked me how much weight I had lost, hadn't seen her since she came back.
Today I went to my husbands work to pick up a vehicle and one of the guys he works with said to him later, I don't want you to think any thing funny or get the wrong idea, but your wife looks really good, she's lost some weight.
It's really nice when I've lost enough for someone to finally notice, not that I'm doing it for anyone else, but it's finally noticeable. Just need to keep it up and get healthier and more active. Yea!!!!1
