Over a proper weight limit? huh So I guess you don't try to set really high PRs?0 -
I hate when I see girls wearing shorts so tiny their butt cheeks hang out. I'm like come on get your *kitten* together, no one cares.0

Yes Courtney I HATE that so much0

I also hate people that make statuses about the gym and are non stop taking selfies to show their "gains" we get that you're in shape and posting an occasional photo showing progress is awesome, but everyday? Again no one cares.0

I find it motivational. Seeing the same person take a picture every day in the gym means they were in the gym EVERY day. That's dedication and motivation.0 -

I guess we have differences in opinion when it comes to motivation. For me, seeing actual change like before and after pictures every few weeks really motivates me. If I see someone's photo everyday it's hard to witness the actual changes because they're gradual.0 -

In my opinion, motivation can come from seeing more than visible results. I'm the type to find encouragement or motivation from anything, positive or negative. The motivation that comes with the daily pictures, like I said, is seeing somebody there every day.
We can agree to disagree, though.0 -

I totally understand where you're coming from, like, do we care about the minutia of people's lives? On the other hand, I did see a Youtube Video of a lady that went to the gym every day for a year. I'm sure it was motivation for her, and her subscribers.
I'm not into the selfie craze, or the photo of every meal craze either.0 -

Ironically this can be spun about anything shared on social media. No one cares, you went to "X" restaurant or you're at "X" bar etc. No one cares you made such and such food, or what your SO bought you.
If it's your thing and it makes you happy, who cares? Block them, hide them, or unfollow if you have a problem.0 -

To the wiping section: do you do than on public transport too? Wipe your seat before you sit down, after you get up? It's ridiculous, at my gym they do it with a new paper towel for each machine they used, even when they sit on their towel and don't touch the machine at all - nothing but a waste of time and resources.

Honestly all you people make newbies scared to go to a gym and it's why I work out at home! Unfortunately, I know eventually I will want to use heavier weights so I guess it's inevitable, but I seriously am dreading it because of you people. Get over yourselves! I have to use my phone because I'm new to weightlifting and strength training. So I use it to make sure my form is correct and I check it between every different exercise I do to see what I need to do next and the correct form for that one. You should all mind your own business and worry about your own workout because I'm sure there is something you do that bothers at least one other person in your gym.0

Why should I have to go to a specific gym? That's just asinine!0

Women who walk around for like 5 minutes with no bra on while their boobs are grazing the floor.0 -
The main thing I hate at my gym is the creepy old dude that works there that stares at me. He is also handicapped (so I feel bad) so I can hear his crutches following me wherever I go. His only saving grace is that I know I could take him down if he ever tried to make an unwanted move.0

There's a 90 year old at mine who always walks up and tells me "looking good" and then places his hand in an almost inappropriate place.
When I'm 90, I may do the same thing to some young stud though, so who am I to judge?0 -

There is an older guy who goes to my gym who literally does this. I always wondered why there arent any young female at my gym.0 -

I wish more women went naked/topless in my locker room so I wouldn't have that teeny tiny amount of dubiousness I feel about myself going topless while getting ready.0 -

right?! haha. They're obviously not a threat just a bit unnerving. I always find where he is so when I bend over to stretch my *kitten* is not facing towards him, lol.0 -
The best was that I wanted to use a machine and I had to wake the guy up. He took a break and fell asleep on the machine.0

I agree with you. If I hated everything about the gym or parts of it, I wouldn't go. I don't want to waste my time hating on somebody when they are going to continue doing what they are doing. I do my thing and get out.0 -

Hate that also. If you can't lift that much and put it down with ease don't lift.0 -

Agree, if I was legitimately furious, I probably wouldn't go. You've got to let it roll of your back. People at the gym are just like people anywhere else you might go.0
