For the ladies that are having a hard time figuring out their bra size.. amazingly enough I followed the directions on this website:
    http://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/fit_guide

and ordered some cheap bras off ebay in the size it told me I was.. and they ALL fit me perfectly. This is after years and years of wearing the wrong size bras, and having to always try them on first. I started out wearing an improper fitting 44DD before I lost 100+lbs and now I wear a 34F. I found brand new with tags bras on ebay from Nordstroms for $10-$17 each.

When I lose more and need more bras, I will be using that site again!

    30FF. Yeah, probably not. LOL.

*edit, Oh, UK sizes! Actually...that's probably spot-on. Either FF or F. US 32DDD/E is a weeee bit too small, so....

I'm not getting more until I'm at least 10lbs down, though.

If she's 30FF in UK sizes, she's a 30H in US sizes. For whatever reason, US sizes lose their minds after DD and the bras start to fit weird. That's why it's best to figure out your UK size and use that. This is coming from a 38JJ!

When you're in a friend's wedding and don't have to worry about the tux fitting you because you've lost weight since the measurements were taken... I had the opposite happen to me for my own wedding. Looked like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy when I had my tux jacket on... haha...

I lost thirty pounds. This guy I had never met before came up to me and said, "I think you're really pretty, just beautiful. Sorry, I'm a creeper." And then he ran away. Almost literally, just raced out of the room. I was speechless. That had never happened to me before. His heartfelt compliment blew me away

I had it happen to me at the gym once. This guy complimented me then ran away. Nice but weird too. lol

That I would actually want to choose the healthy option over the energy-dense option. And that I would *really* want to wear a belt over a loose shirt because I want the illusion of a waist.

Going from being an invisible 51 year old to being noticed. It is very straaange. I can no longer move about in an invisibility cloak. I got whistled at by a builder today. Cheeky blighter.

I am soo looking forward to this! (still 80lbs to lose).

That eating healthy, veggies & low fat, lean meats) can mean eating a lot of food - some days I am just tired of eating, and still don't reach my calorie goal.

Very true. I'm struggling with this at the moment, It feels like i'm starving my body even though i'm eating more!

Looking forward to all the positives though, these posts really make me feel motivated :)

Most of us need the before pictures because our eyes play tricks on us and we don't see how big we were until it starts coming off and some days....even with the loss....I still see me as "the bigger me" staring back at me in the mirror.

You're welcome! Keep in mind they use UK sizing, they say its more accurate. I am in the US but was able to find UK sizing on the US Ebay website. They also list a bunch of stores that carry the harder to find sizes I believe.

That being the dummy on the floor for a 1st aid course hurts when you have less fat to cushion things.

That I would go into a "normal" store, take the biggest size (as I always do) and it would be too big :o:o:o Said store never ever had anything that fitted me before. I stood in the changing room gobsmacked.

Realizing how terribly uncomfortable I was before. Never realized....

How much better the funky monkey is...ooooooh wow.

The profoundly stupid remarks/excuses an overweight friend has used to explain her weight. She keeps asking me to go out to eat.... hahaha prior to going I have checked the menu & nutritional info and know what works for me. Recently, she ate a large appetizer, a large meal and dessert while explaining to me how she "usually" eats healthy organic foods. Seriously in all the years I have known her - I have NEVER seen anything resembling nature or organic food in her house or on her plate. I love her - but sometimes I just want to throttle her.

Thank you ladies. This is wonderful. Your post are very encouraging. I've lost a little too and noticed all the things you've mentioned. It's good to know you're not "weird". Other people have similar experiences, feelings, and emotions.

That sleeping was going to be a problem! We have an old mattress and it's lumpy as it is. Now I have hip bones and stuff starting to show it's hard to get comfortable enough for a good night sleep. I have to squirm about a bit until I can get that sweet spot where I don't feel anything digging in to me. Also I don't know what to do with my legs as they are leaner now and feel every lump! I tried the suggestion of using an extra pillow that I can rest my leg on and that helps to a certain extent.
