That looks like it might be the answer. I might have to invest in one or something like it. Also I don't know what to do with my left leg anymore. I sleep on my right side and I guess my legs used to be more fleshy. Now they're leaner and more muscled and feel weird when pressed together at night. I was skinny as a teenager. I don't remember how I slept then. I guess I was just used to it.0 -

Getting onto the floor and up again is much easier, but you forget and think that it's a pain in the backside when something drops on the floor.

Not getting bruises on my hips from sitting in an airplane seat after a flight. The other day I was shocked to look down and see the bottom of the seat on either side of me. For a second I thought the seats has gotten bigger.. And then I remembered... Oh yeah... ☺️10

I just have to add to this. I noticed this week how much nicer my front yard is looking. When I see a weed or grass growing in the wrong place I bend over and pull it. Without complaining or waiting for someone else to do it.

This is great, I've enjoyed reading all the responses!
For me I was surprised that my shoe size went down. I used to like the house to stay at 68, now it is 75 and I'm still ALWAYS cold. I didn't realize just how much extra energy I would have - I'm always fidgeting and moving, all day long! My tolerance for sweets has gone down (a good thing!) and I will physically get sick if I overdo it. It's easier to walk the aisles of an airplane without bumping into everyone. My mind does not always see the same thing as my eyes... I can look in the mirror daily and even when the scale says I've lost my mind doesn't seem to believe it. Tossing out old clothes while losing is a good practice. I made the mistake of not doing this before - it was far too easy to gain back 5 pounds, then 10, then 15... Not this time! People do treat you quite differently, but the extra compliments feel great.4 -

This is great, I've enjoyed reading all the responses!
Tossing out old clothes while losing is a good practice. I made the mistake of not doing this before - it was far too easy to gain back 5 pounds, then 10, then 15... Not this time! People do treat you quite differently, but the extra compliments feel great.
I'm still a bit insecure to get rid of them all.. lol.. but now I'm only keeping one size up instead of having 6 different larger sizes in the closet. I'm pretty confident that if my weight starts traveling upward again I can reverse it fairly quickly.

* I have to constantly remind myself to stand up straight. I never realized how much I slouched before in an effort to make myself seem smaller.
* That I would run - even if something was NOT on fire. Even though I am as slow as turtles in peanut butter.
* That I would confuse mine and my daughters jeans. And be this close to fitting into them.
* How much my knees and hips would hurt from sitting/laying.
* How someday I would BE one of "those women", you know- the ones that aren't that fat. I am still getting used to being an "average sized" person. Going from 300+ to 168, my brain still needs time to adjust.
* That when people ask you how you did it, and you reply "eat less, move more", they look at you all funny.18 -
Some of your friends and family members will not be supportive.
I'm noticing this!! It's like they are mad at me. I had to let a friend go because she was being so negative and making nasty remarks on fb. This is why I decided to check this community out.
But not everyone is. I love seeing and hearing success stories.3 -
I got a road bicycle and dove in!
I found out the skin tight jersey and padded pants actually work well for long rides
It is cool to able to wear it and have no love handles or overhang!
