shooting to get get to 179 and then simply put some of the muscle I've lost back on, and not worry so much about actual weight as feeling good about myself.

Couldn't run a mile when I started, even slowly ... trying 12 mins or so. I ran a 10k on my own a few weeks back and entered my first 5K mid-June and ran it at an 8:39 pace. At no time in my entire life before now could I do that, so feeling good about progress!

    160-165

I was in the 150-155 range until I started lifting seriously in January. I am happier with my strength and endurance now and my clothes still fit the same or more loosely. I'm squatting & deadlifting 100 lbs now, benching 90 and can run a 5k in under 40 minutes.

Unfortunately, because the health insurance police at work are fixated on BMI, I will have to cut back to 155 for their annual screenings. I usually run a couple of 5ks for charity right before that - relay for life, autism speaks and a local free medical clinic - those races are good timing for me, but I would run them anyway. I just think that fixating on BMI over anything else is a mistake. Both of my clinically overweight brothers wrecked motorcycles last year. The actually obese one is still having some rib and shoulder pain after more than 12 months. The weightlifting clinically overweight one cracked his pelvis and was on a vent and said on Friday, I am celebrating my first birthday. No pain, no physical issues at all.

5'8'' currently at 125. I've maintained this down from the usual 135 I've pretty much always been. I'm happy with this weight/body fat.

I am 5'3.75", so basically 5'4". I weigh about 117 today. My goal range is between 114 and 118, though I could go as low as 110 and I'd be OK with it. Overall, I'd probably do better to build muscle, though.

    Back to boot camp weight

    177

Now to drop 8-10 lbs of fat and add 5 of muscle over the next 6-9 months

Go back to my old base and run the obstacle course again.

I got down to 189 but felt really weak and lost a lot of muscle after losing 200+ pounds. In the last year, I have put on about 15 pounds doing a slow bulk to add more lean body mass. I can lift more while running and swimming faster and longer.
