Or you could just learn to cook for yourself..?

Definitely needed a bigger bowl for all this deliciousness. Sauteed black beans, mushrooms, onion and red pepper with zoodles, baby spinach, raw carrot, broccoli, a bit of cheese and some salsa.

Made a turkey salad with spinach, romaine, mushrooms, green onion, red bell pepper, cucumber, tomato, potato, pecans, a tbs of ricotta, a couple tbs of macaroni salad (leftover from the 4th of July bbq), garlic salt and black pepper.

Later I made a blueberry and cream crisp, recipe from the WebMD website.

How do you make the noodle salad? Looks really tasty! Serving size? # of cals?

I posted the noodle salad back in Dec, 2012. And I've posted the recipe a number of times since.

I've no idea what the details are now.

Sweet potato egg boat with bacon, mushrooms and onion.

Polenta topped with sautéed kale, labneh, and a soft boiled egg. Seasoned with zaatar.

Turkey Swiss and mayo toasted sandwich with mixed baby green salad (strawberries, Gorgonzola, and Brianna's creamy balsamic vinaigrette).

Sweet potato crusted quiche with kale, mozzarella, Asiago, onions, mushrooms, and bacon.

Just realized most of these have eggs. I'm a big breakfast fan I guess.

It was a spinach, egg and feta kind of day for me!

2 spinach, mushroom and feta egg muffins with salsa and a small bowl of strawberries with greek yoghurt for breakfast:

    jgrga0hytrvv.jpg

Spinach and feta omelette, salsa, mixed veggies with black beans and a slice of low carb (2 grams) high protein (12 grams) bread with some melted mozzarella on top:

@crazyravr I love your foods and your presentation. Is that like a wood cutting board that you put all the grilled foods on, or a platter? I've seen that in some of your other pics...

You also reminded me I need to get out our Popsicle maker for the summer. I think I'm going to make blackberry mojito pops with mint from my garden!

^^^ its a wood cutting board. I dont want to do any more dishes than I have to so I usually cut all my veg on the board, season on the board and then use the same board as a plate hehe :) I have other wood boards like that I only use for serving when we have large groups over. I like how the wood makes any grilled food look so much prettier and tastier than a platter.

That is a great idea, I was just thinking how awesome your food always looks.

    Thanx ;)

Yeah it looks really cool and rustic. Going to have to look around for one - I have a couple of wood cheese boards but nothing big enough for serving actual food off of.

Haven't been contributing too much lately.

Here's last night's dinner. Fresh spread including spinach, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, nuts, cherries, grapes, blueberries, plumcots, avocado, greek yogurt, variety of cheeses, and accompanied by homebrewed pineapple coconut kombucha.
    rkn2sagjnb7j.png

And as if I didn't stuff myself silly enough last night. My husband got up early and treated me to what I would normally reserve for a weekend breakfast.
Thick french toast with blueberries and bananas, topped with a maple cream cheese syrup. #fatandhappy

We've been doing a lot of celebrating, and I only have one virtuous meal to share--these red peppers stuffed with lentils and grilled veggies

    ugp8rm5kgaup.jpg

I will thus only shamefacedly share this photo essay titled "Peanut Butter Boysenberry Birthday Cake: A Tale of dark Chocolate Ganache" or "How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love this Bomb Dessert"

First layer of dark chocolate cake

    Another layer

    Peanut butter frosting everywhere

...and dark chocolate ganache because, at this point, you're committed...

...some decoration before the guest of honor arrives, and DONE. You guys, I need to get back on track after this ;)
