^^^ its a wood cutting board. I dont want to do any more dishes than I have to so I usually cut all my veg on the board, season on the board and then use the same board as a plate hehe :) I have other wood boards like that I only use for serving when we have large groups over. I like how the wood makes any grilled food look so much prettier and tastier than a platter.

    Thanx ;)

Yeah it looks really cool and rustic. Going to have to look around for one - I have a couple of wood cheese boards but nothing big enough for serving actual food off of.

Haven't been contributing too much lately.

Here's last night's dinner. Fresh spread including spinach, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, nuts, cherries, grapes, blueberries, plumcots, avocado, greek yogurt, variety of cheeses, and accompanied by homebrewed pineapple coconut kombucha.

And as if I didn't stuff myself silly enough last night. My husband got up early and treated me to what I would normally reserve for a weekend breakfast.
Thick french toast with blueberries and bananas, topped with a maple cream cheese syrup. #fatandhappy

We've been doing a lot of celebrating, and I only have one virtuous meal to share--these red peppers stuffed with lentils and grilled veggies

    ugp8rm5kgaup.jpg

I will thus only shamefacedly share this photo essay titled "Peanut Butter Boysenberry Birthday Cake: A Tale of dark Chocolate Ganache" or "How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love this Bomb Dessert"

First layer of dark chocolate cake

    Another layer

...and dark chocolate ganache because, at this point, you're committed...

...some decoration before the guest of honor arrives, and DONE. You guys, I need to get back on track after this ;)

Slice bananas. Freeze them. Blend them with a splash of water or by themselves. Add vanilla, ground chocolate, a pinch of salt and cinnamon. Blend until smooth. Voilà:

@Queenmunchy that looks soo good.. looks simple but do you mind telling me what you added and how you prepared the zoodles. Thanks

All I did was chop up my veggies, season and sauté them, add in the zoodles and some spreadable cheese wedges (laughing cow is the most popular brand), and ate! It's also really good with leftover chicken or whatever you have around. Takes 10 minutes at the most.

LOL @Acg67 that's not your normal presentation, and CheezIt crusted chicken sounds like something my kids might actually eat!
