    Our July exercise challenge was a great success. I challenged everyone to complete 1,000 minutes of exercise for the month. Some even surpassed that goal by completing over 2,000! Great job!

    The goal here is simple: get moving. It doesn't matter when or how, just get moving.

    Challenge:
    1) Set a goal for yourself of how many minutes of exercise you wish to complete this month. Minimum bid is 1,000 minutes (that's about a half an hour per day this month).
    2) Post your goal here.
    3) Log in and post your progress as much or as little as you wish. You can post every day, every few days, or once a week.
    4) Encourage your fellow participants.

    My name is Amy and I am committing to 1,500 minutes of exercise this month!

    8/1 - 82 (running, dog walking, stationary bike)
    8/2 - 60 (dog walking)
    8/3 - rest day
    8/4 - 30 (dog walking)

    Hi guys! I'm going to tag along and join the challenge of doing 2000 mins of exercise this month.

    Aug 1: 30mins Tae Bo
    Aug 2: Rest day
    Aug 3: 60mins brisk walk
    Aug 4: 37mins brisk walk and 8min jog at the end

    135/2000!

    Aug 5: 55mins brisk walk and 5min jog at the end

    208/2000!

    All the above don't include the bike ride it took to get there and back

    Goal=1800 minutes

    Aug 1 = 45 mins.....swimming
    Aug 2 = 115 mins.....weight lifting, calisthenics and swimming
    Aug 3 = 40 mins…….swimming
    Aug 4 = 70 mins…….strength training, circuit training and calisthenics
    Aug 5 = 115 mins…..weights/strength training, calisthenics, swimming

    Woke up with a migraine so missed my weights class for today. I will get in another fitness class instead and then fencing tonight. Less than three weeks till my next competition...

    Hi, I'm Elizabeth.
    New challenge for me - Yay!
    I'm fighting a nagging hip injury, so I'm going to reach for 1500 minutes this month.

    I'm on vacation through the 12th. Until I get home, I will use Fitbit 'Active Minutes.' After that, it'll be Endomondo logging hikes/walks and the stopwatch I set for dance class...

    Hi my name is Heather. I'm joining the challenge late but i am still hoping to get 1000 mins. I just had my gallbladder moved a little over a week ago so I'm just starting to slowly workout again. Good luck to everyone

    8/3 - Elliptical, Walk, Run & Abs - 117 min
    8/4 - Elliptical and 2 Walks - 123 min

    Hi! Newbie to this challenge..

    1st Aug - 20 mins
    2nd Aug - 20 mins

    3rd Aug - 20 mins

    4th Aug - 20 mins

    Will try and aim for more once my body stops being in shock!
    Doing 30 day shred and will incorporate walking and biking.
