    Just came off my second attempt at HcG diet. I lasted one week the first go then two weeks the next. I did not have a good experience. If you load on carbs and sugar, you will crash so hard that first week you won't know what hit you. I did not lose weight nearly fast enough for such a radical change. No one likes a Debbie Downer, but forewarned is forearmed right? I had to stop taking the HCG as it was really and truly making me depressed and anxious. I was even ok with the diet itself, hard as that was, and it is really really hard...the day after I stopped the HcG, my mood improved. It was like a cloud had lifted off of me. I tend to anxiety and depression anyway, which I have help with, so maybe this isn't a fair comparison. All I know is, I felt terrible on the HcG and felt like myself again when I stopped. MFP won't even let you log out your day with those few calories!
    ( how are you at 1,000 calories? I have 70 lbs to lose and only got up to about 750 calories on the hcg2.0 plan)
    Good luck to you. It did not work for me. I mean ,Who doesn't want to lose a pound a day?!

    Oh, thank you. I thought I was losing my mind. I am never depressed and this is my second day and I feel depressed and anxious. I couldn't sleep. I have thyroid problems and that may be the reason, it could be messing with my medication. I am consuming 1200 calories before exercise. I don't think I will be able to do the drops.
    I appreciate the information.

    Just a warning when I followed the hcg plan with the drops I ended up with my hair falling out, brittle nails, and gall bladder/thyroid issues.Some could have stemmed from either the hcg or my IUD which caused the havoc but my doctor says in any case the drops didn't help.

    Happy with my weight loss this week. I've been going to the gym every day & eating within my calories. (Monday bodypump & treadmill, Tuesday step, Wednesday strength class, Thursday treadmill, Friday spinning, Saturday bodypump, and today I plan on running on the treadmill). We cut white sugar and hfcs from our diets. I even made my own hamburger buns for a cookout with honey and whole wheat flour and my whole family loved them.

    Sometimes I get frustrated (especially with the scale in the mornings) but I feel so much better and I can already see a difference, especially in my face and stomach. I never want to quit. My goal is to lose 80-100 lbs so that I'm healthy and then have another baby :)

    Fell off the logging wagon for a month. It's okay, slow consistent weight loss will eventually get me to my goals. I've continued to work hard at the gym and hit some new bests on the weights.     Remember: Your workout routine doesn't have to be extreme to be effective.

    If you’re new to fitness, start by working out just 10 minutes three or four times a week. Every week after that, increase your time by three minutes. Before you know it, you’ll be moving for a half-hour or more.

    Weight loss this week: 2.2lb, with a total weight loss for 8 weeks of 9.2lb. Happy with that, although I'm fairly sure 1lb of that was last week's weight loss, but my scales/body had a mini-freak out and refused to show it! However, over 2lb down, and on target. I was missing chocolate so much this past week, and have had quite a bit - although it pretty much fit into my calories, or at least didn't go over the exercise calories I decided to eat back! Next week, I'll be happy with 1-1.5lb weight loss. I've got my 4-week gym check in tomorrow, so I'll also see what my inch loss is looking like over that time. Given I've just gone down a whole dress size in both tops and bottoms now, I expect to see a reduction all over.

    I know it isn't my weigh in day, but I wanted to post so that I have some more accountability this week. I went WAY over my calories this weekend and didn't exercise at all. I know I should have added in more workout time between birthday festivities but I just didn't feel like it. I'm sure everyone can relate to that a bit. I fully expect to gain this week and that's ok but I plan to kick it into gear over the next few days before my weigh in on Thursday. Hopefully the gain won't be more than a pound or so. Keep up the good work everyone!

    Seems there are a lot of birthday festivities going on these days. LOL
    I myself had a birthday last week, and between a girl's night out and THREE birthday parties with cake I am amazed the scale even moved at all. So this week, I am back on the wagon, packed my breakfast, lunch and snacks for the office and will be hitting the pavement again each night this week. I have 3 more weeks to get to my initial goal of being under 250. That means 3 pounds per week. It's a challenge, but I'm up for it!! Hope everybody has a great week!
